I'm glad. It's good to have a buddy with during things like boot camp. It gives you an incentive to stay and a support system that you'll most likely need in a place like that. It's nice to have you around again Lang, even if it's only for a while. You're one crazy and cool cat.

I remember the old days, the General Forum Revolution was the one time I ever brushed with General Forum Royalty, playing my part as Protector, then all the nudists theads that started after that was..... interesting.

Not for several months now. She was keeping in touch regularly for a while there, but it suddenly dropped off near finals week. I think she's busy with her summer job or something. I hope that's what it is.

Anyway, there's nothing to show for it anymore. No one ever bothered to archive anything from general. In fact there's only that swastica thing in the archive forum now.

I remember all and more... It's saddening to look back and see all that is gone, but in the face of so much loss new life has emerged. The forums aren't dead just because 95% of the people who were around back then aren't any more, they're just different, that is the beauty of life, ever present, ever changing.

I remember my only venture into the UN debates during the huge campaign to defeat a poorly worded equal rights amendment that Letila was convinced would mean that nations would starve as it meant that we couldn't even eat vegetables.

I kept trying to get it voted down on a procedural note but Enodia was convinced that I was asking for mod intervention (I wasn't-I wanted it to be a self inforcing procedural body, not one with 'enforcement gods'...alas). The raging debate and TG campaign was pretty entertaining.

'02 nations posting under another nostalgia thread but I don't think I've seen any Nov. '02 recently. They're around. They just don't post. Some of us actually miss the buggy old forums because they were more of an anarchy even if you had to re-submit all your posts five times or wait 10 minutes to see if it actually had taken.
