The RNC

The RNC probably has a better chance of giving Kerry a bump then Bush if it is handled properly by the Democrats...
1) Kerry explains and defends his alleged flip-floppery
and
2) Anti-Bushers protest as hardcore as possible, eventually leading to Republicans taking not-so-well-thought-out actions against them...

Kerry's "flipflopping" makes perfect sense if you realize the context of his various decisions and the fact that he's willing to admit that he can be wrong like any man... let's not even go into Bush's flipflopping...
And when have the Republicans ever taken well thought out actions against protestors?

The world is not static. To believe that some one should hold the same view in 2004 as they did in 1971 or even 1995 is simply stupid. If he had never changed his mind on an issue, then I'd worry.

You know where I stand on the political spectrum?

Hrm...now the left is defending Kerry's "flip-floppery" when it isn't necessary. Stop spamming.

You know where I stand on the political spectrum? No, how do you expect me to know?
I'm not 'defending' it so much as responding to the first post in this thread which mentioned it. If you want to accuse people who respond to your thread of spamming, state clearly in that first post what kind of replies you want.

If they cause that much trouble, that's the NYPD's job. They say that similar problems arise everytime the UN General Assembly convenes, so it's no big problem. Besides, the protestors shouldn't be as bad as were the ones at every G8 summit, or the ones at that WTO meeting in Seattle.

What i don't understand about the RNC and the DNC is why are they 'the X National Convention'...call me picky but doesn't 'the National X Convention' make more sense?

When did the ability to change your mind and opinions in the face of new evidence become such a liability?
