...but I'm not sure on what...the DoHS raised terror levels though.

Oh please, raising the "terror alerts" dont mean anything. They only do that to scare you (on most occasions). They probably only raised it because the Republican convention is coming up, and Bush/Kerry caimpaigns are on the road, which means they are more open to the public.

Uh...that's what I meant...
I'm pretty sure the terror alerts were raised before Bush tried getting us to go into Iraq. What I'm saying is that he scares us into siding with him using his terror chart.

I think he's going to keep the alert up until October and reveal Bin Laden. But that's just me. It'd really work well for his ticket as long as nobody found out they'd always had him for a while.

Damn, I sound like a conpspiracy nut.

Heh...well, I think then he'd be raising the alerts in places like Ohio and Florida...

Well, here's the beauty of raising terror levels in specific areas ...

1] If nothing happens, the it becomes a "boy who cried wolf" scenario and the initial reaction will be one of the Bush administration using scare tactics to cow the people.

2] If something major happens and hundreds or thousands of people die, then there is absolutely no way the Bush administration can claim they didn't have foreknowledge.

Either way: Bush == Boned.

I love it.

Bush has never made a big decision. Do you mean to say that Dick Cheney and Karl Rove are going to make a big decision soon? :D

Don't let Bush scare you. The US gummint has killed far more civilians than Al-Qaeda.

But they mentioned specific targets. They probably have secondary ones, but they can't be as important as these ones are. The other targets, like the Capitol and White House, have too much security for terrorists to target without at least another year of planning.

Meh I live in Columbus, Ohio. But I wont be getting scared over any terror alerts in ohio that's for sure. I think they are going to say that the terrorists are going to be targeting the DSCC (Defense Suply Center Columbus). But I ain't afraid of the Al Qaeda.

Dont worry too much, only bush's defenders (read: supporters of an unelected ruler) criticize his critics as 'conspirany nuts.'
For what bush and his gang have done to be considered a 'conspiracy' they'd have had to have done it in secret, which they didnt.
The lies and crimes are plain to see.
