The Clash - Rock the Casbah

*dances*

For your own sake I strongly advise "acquiring" one of the live versions of this song and listening to it in preference to the version that appear on Combat Rock. They are almost without exception infinitely superior. I really don't know why I dislike the studio version so much, but it just seems kind of half-hearted compared to other versions they did of it.

As to what I'm listening to... prompted by seeing this I'm now listening to "Safe European Home" off the '81 Bondage at Bonds bootleg (the mix is a tad vocal heavy, but hey, you can't have everything).

Now I'm listening to "Against All Odds", Mariah Carey's cover of Phil Collins off the Rainbow album.

If everyone listened to this the world would be a better place. In fact everyone listening go to www.singingfish.com and type in 'Mariah Carey: Against All Odds'.

Oh, now it's over, I've wasted enough time to give everyone another Mariah Carey song! Yay! It's called "Crybaby".

If you've made it this far and not gone on to the next post I applaud you.
