Just what we need, the man who used to snort coke, but stopped, 18 years, no 16 years, no 15 years, no 5 years, 10 minutes, 5 seconds (Sniff sniff) ago.
We have a junkie as a president and this man has his finger on the red button.
I fear for the future of the USA.
Bush Using Drugs to Control Depression, Erratic Behavior

Excerpts:
President George W. Bush is taking powerful anti-depressant drugs to control his erratic behavior, depression and paranoia, Capitol Hill Blue has learned.
The prescription drugs, administered by Col. Richard J. Tubb, the White House physician, can impair the President’s mental faculties and decrease both his physical capabilities and his ability to respond to a crisis, administration aides admit privately...
Tubb prescribed the anti-depressants after a clearly-upset Bush stormed off stage on July 8, refusing to answer reporters' questions about his relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth J. Lay.
“Keep those motherf*****s away from me,” he screamed at an aide backstage. “If you can’t, I’ll find someone who can.”...

Kerry Eager to Meet Candidate Edwards Described
(2004-07-29) -- John Forbes Kerry said that he's eager to meet the man John Edwards described in his speech last night to the Democrat convention.
"I look forward to shaking hands with the strong, decisive leader that Senator Edwards talked about," said Mr. Kerry from the living room of his Boston home. "I didn't catch his name, but his character reminds me of a young John Kerry--the kind of man I was in Vietnam."
Mr. Edwards, who delivered a stirring emotional speech on populist themes, insisted that he spoke of Mr. Kerry himself, despite the latter's image as a stoic, aloof elitist.
After hearing the speech, Mr. Kerry said, "Edwards almost had me believing that 'hope is on the way.' He gave me that warm, Clintonesque feeling all over again. I nearly smiled."
Mr. Kerry and Mr. Edwards are also U.S. Senators.
Um.. who is Teresa Hampton, and why have I never heard of "Capitol Hill Blue"?
If this actually came from a reliable news source, and had any evidence to back it up, I might believe it. There is no way that the State Dept. would allow such sensitive medical information to released. If someone was going to make up a story like this, why not add something like "he was found to be lacking in testicles altogther."

We went over this a few days ago people. Capitol Hill Blue is a less reliable news source by far than even Fox News. The story is complete BS. I don't see why people need to make shit up to bash Bush, I think his record sort of speaks for itself.

Bush Military Records Found in Berger's Socks
(2004-07-24) -- The Pentagon announced today that the newly-released payroll records from President Bush's 1972 National Guard service were discovered in the socks of Clinton-era national security advisor Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger.
"We're still going through the trove of documents from Mr. Berger's socks," said an unnamed spokesman for the FBI. "It's like an archeological dig. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find 18 minutes of Nixon White House tapes as we work our way down through the various strata of the Berger hosiery."
Mr. Berger released a statement to the media denying intentional wrongdoing in the matter, and claiming that "static electricity" often attracts items to his socks.
"In the future, I shall employ a popular dryer sheet which dissipates electrical charges," Mr. Berger said. "My failure to do so previously is just plain sloppiness."

All presidents are on something. Remember Bill and his brother Roger, and how when Roger was busted by the cops, he told the undercover dealer "I'd better get some extra for my brother, he has a nose like a vacuum cleaner."
Everyone back in those days (1970's) did it, even yours truly was a fiend. But we grew up and stopped doing that crap. Bill and Georgie both honked it down, and probably still do to this day. Kerry is probably a pill popper or a valium head at the least. When you were an adult living in the 70's and had cash, which all 3 of those guys did, you partied down. It was hard to avoid as there was so much good quality peruvian flake, and columbian white around and at great prices.
PS-with the stress that the presidents are under, can you blame them for doing something to take the edge off. heck if they would toke up with some chocolate thai, I wouldn't have a problem. I don't want some stressed out president to have the football with him. Let him toke it up, or at least give him a harem to work out the stress.

OK, yeah, there's already been a thread or two about this. And it's just ridiculous. Drugs are only a weak excuse for the behavior of the leader of the free world.

"Free world" as in so-called free world. If you consider that every president except Kennedy was a mason, and both major parties might as well double as Masonic lodges, then you can see we are not really free.

Dude, Kerry was an anti-war protestor during Vietnam. What kind of drug do you think he did, and probably still does. I'll give you a hint. It's not valium.

I don't know how old you are (if you were around in the Vietnam era), but he went to Yale in the 60's, and was a member of S&B. Let's just say all of those blue bloods had large expense accounts. You think they'd do boring pot, or live the high life with some upper crust drugs? Esp. since most were elitist. Sure he smoked some dope, but you mature and you need "better" things to do with your time. Plus with the fact that he is married to Teresa (who probably bosses him around, treating him like a little boy) I would think he is on some sort of downers. Maybe GW, and Kerry still hook up as old S&B's and do big, fat rails off of some strippers ta-ta's, while remembering the old days.
BTW Kerry was too blue blooded to only stick to pot, he had the means to afford Coke, the choice of a rich generation.
PS-I haven't been called dude in a long time. I'm 58 and served in vietnam.

Actually, I was talking about LSD.
Well, maybe that would explain why he called us war criminals. But during the war, uppers were handed out like candy. I would take 4 speeds with my morning chow, then do our 4 hour sortie, return, eat, take 4 more, then go and fly with my pilot again, come back, eat supper, take 4 more, then go back out again, and do it all one more time. While at the same time flying around heavily defended enemy ground, trying to get them to paint us with their radars and fire at us, while our hearts were thumping with the adrenaline and speeders, and then trying to dance with the missiles and fire our anti radar missiles at them. So back then the government pretty much looked the other way if we did drugs, so long as they were provided to us by them. I'm sure Kerry knocked back a few when he went out on patrol to keep him alert, but those pills lead to other problems, like a gateway to crank and coke.
