Your Election Campaign?

Hopefully this won't result in yet another Republican/Democrat massacre...

Anyway, with lots of people here arguing about whether to vote Bush or Kerry in (my own viewpoint being unimportant at this time), from what I can tell very little of your opinions seem to have anything to do with the campaign trail of the politicians. Maybe this is because your minds are already made up as a result of the War on Terror, 9/11, Religious or moral issues etc., maybe the message either of the two isn't powerful enough to sway you, or maybe you simply prefer voting for one group as a result of growing up with a particular party.

I don't mean offence by that, of course. But what do you think the politicians would need to say in order to convince you to change your mind? Or, on the other hand, what do you think your candidate could say to enhance their prospects?

Here's an idea to get you thinking about the other aspect of the elections. It's a sort of game, I suppose, but an informative one.

What, if you were running for President of the United States of America, would your message be?

No flaming other people's ideas, please. Even if they're a bit absurd.

"We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."

America for Americans, American jobs for Americans! Outlaw outsourcing, subordinate the economic apparatus to the service of the state, and ruthlessly smash jewish power over the working class. Smash the media also (which is mostly jewish occupied territory). Abolish congress, abolish the supreme court. Anybody who can't account for how they earned their money (Be they a CEO like the jew Sumner Redston, or a redneck or negro welfare bum) gets thrown into a labor camp. Seal the borders with machine guns and tanks.

Kerry and Bush make excellent points, and I just wanna point out a quip from Last Comic Standing: "If you don't vote for me, I will take away all the ketchup."

Mine would have to be, "Vote For Me, Or I Will Rain Fire On Your Huts!"

Oh wait...that was my campaign from Sudan...

America's, " If You Vote For Me, I Will Give You All One Million Dollars."

I run as an anti-gay, pro-tax cuts, vague job promising, patriotic, honest to god Christian... Democrat. That'll mess with the opponent's head (I'll buy the Democrat nomination, of course). Then, once I'm in office, I do an about face ('cept for the Democrat part, you can't change parties while in office...) and impose my real political views on the nation. Muahaha. For the war, we'd pull slowly... and carefully... out... of... Iraq and Afghanistan... and hope it doesn't implode once we leave.

I don't need a slogan, because my last name would just work against me.. ("Put Hicks In Office!"). Instead, I'd run lots of negative ads with lots of graphs. I like graphs.

Limited government, freedom etc.

Get rid of income tax and most taxation period move to user fees and sales tax

Cut back/eliminate spending and government thus making it small, support and promot and allow freedom thus. Preferably a non interventionist pro peace free trade kinda guy when it comes to foreign issues but I would definetly have good strong military and defense, at home!

No, seriously. I would so vote for the person who ran that campaign ad. In any event. I usually know well in advance of any campaigning who I'd want to vote for. I pretty much base it on who aligns most closely with my beliefs.

In order to convince me, I want Kerry to say that he will leave taxes alone, and initiate tort reform to lower healthcare costs. I also want a gurantee that, with the exception of a national logistic emergency, he will NEVER tap into the Strategic Oil Reserve.
