I guess you like being on the losing sides of wars O_o. Oh, and by the Way, Carthage rules! It shoulds been ROME that burned to the Ground...

just so you know that is a really expensive hobby, i have a friend who has put 10 grand in for 6 years.
One more thing:
I dont know how I ended up a German re-enactor, and I'm not a Nazi so dont call me one. Its interesting that I'm a German because I'm:
1/4 Scottish
1/4 English
1/4 Polish
1/4 Latvian
My dad's Jewish too...
What do those 4 countries have in common?

Yeah, I'm a young guy. It wont be that much for me. The equipment is going to be about $1,000 give or take a few hundred.
I have always been very intrigued by war reenactments and would be interested in doing some myself. How did you find out about the historical community to which you are a member of?

I read that alot on the Paradox site. But I still don't know what that stands for. I'm just playing the game straight from the CD. With the updates of course.

I was ordering new dog tags and it said that they also supply WWII re-enactors, so I googled it.
I've had an interest in WWII, which began in third grade (no lie) when I took out a 250 page book from the library about the war.

I would love to do Civil War re-enactments. If I ever get enough time free I'm going to do that. I've been to so many of the re-enactments and am just entranced by it.

And the world would be speaking Greek instead of Latin... Oh wait, almost nobody speaks Latin these days... Nevermind...
Anyways, Spanish, French, Italian, and that stuff would have been based off of Greek instead of Latin...
