Can anyone here who is not a Star Wars fan tell me What relevance the C-96 Mauser has to the film? I know if you are a fan, or hate the films, you know, so lets leave this to the non-fans please (no spoilers.)

Well, I know they used Sterlings for the Stormtrooper blasters, Enfield no. 1's for the Jawa things, but I'm not sure about the C96's. I have an idea, but I figure I've probably watched the movie too many times not to qualify as a fan anyway.

I want to have a C96 but i dont really know what it has to do with Star Wars, i'm not really a fan. I've only seen one (or two? dont remember) of those films.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I know where they used 'em. But I'll let someone else answer, don't wanna spoil the fun.

Spelling correct. Leia used a tatrget pistol in the movie, not a c96

Solo Used one, and in the TESB Luke used one

*funny note: in the official RPG, the C96 replica was called the DL-44, Harking back to the 44 magnum, ala Dirty Harry.*
