This morning July 29th 2004, in Georgia and ossetia the nation of Georgia has invaded south ossetia which gained its independence from Georgia in the 90's. There have been minor conflicts since june but this morning Georgia began an artillery bombardment on the capital city of south ossetia and attemtped to cut south ossetia off from Russia. More news as more arrives.
