I belive that it is possible to take over the real world. and it all lies in americas system of government. The down side is a third party must be formed and I need a platform that will get not only the populous on my side but the electoral collage.... Help.

by a "third party" are you trying to say there are only two political parties in the US?

Simple-

1. Get elected president. To do this, be filthy rich, famous, a war hero, or the son of a president. If possible, as many of those as you can.
2. Establish a beach head in the middle east.
3. Continue to subjugate the middle east with pro-american regimes.
4. Corner to oil market.
5. Sit back and watch.

or

5. Engineer a N/B/C/Terrorist attack on a major city. Use it to go to war. Generally, pick a large nation with good economic conditions but a much smaller army.
6. Go to town.

Either one is likely to get you nuked to high heaven, but it's possible.

And note that while 2 and 3 are possible under bush, 5 has nothing to do with him.

The Electoral College is a great idea.
Otherwise there would be a COMPLETE tyranny of the majority.
Issues important to rural citizens would ever be trumped by urban concerns.

Electoral College is a good way, but it does need some renovating. Have you ever seen the county by county election results of the Bush/Gore Election? Small patches of blue on the map, along the east and west coasts represented the counties Gore won. An incredibly large swath of red counties represented the counties Bush won. I think it was a 9-1 ratio. But Gore won the counties housing major cities.

Which goes to prove that if you don't live in a major city on the east coast your vote really doesn't seem to matter.
