This is ridiculous. The thread about incest gets closed because we were having a rational discussion about things because APPARENTLY minors can access the board. Since when is incest an apparently taboo, minor offensive topic? We weren't discussing anything that terrible. >.< It's not like we were handing out how-to manuals and giving indepth descriptions. I just wanted people to give well thought out discussions on why we hold such a taboo about incest and why it was wrong. I wasn't even FOR the damn topic.
And then, if you will, please explain why threads about masturbation and sexiest women don't get locked as well?
Edit: British Jimmy was out of line though, I'll agree. But everyone else was behaving... >.< Stupid lock...

Bah. I'm with you, Felkar. It was actually one of the most interesting discussions I've seen here in a while.
I agree with the decision to remove British Jimmy's inappropriate posts, but once that was done, I don't see how anything offensive remained.
Once again, it seems that some topics are considered too taboo for rational discussion. Grrr.

Once again, it seems that some topics are considered too taboo for rational discussion. Grrr.Rawr. It happens. I'm just irritated because I was getting somewhere with that topic. Blindly saying something is wrong just doesn't make sense. I wanted some clear, evidence as to why people believe it was wrong. And near the end, I was starting to get that. ;_; But then the mean man and came and locked my precious thread away! nuuuuuuuu.
*sighs* Life goes on, and I'll just have to hijack another thread eventually. I should never have left here two years ago. Now I have to pick up the pieces and start all over again.
