Whether of not you believe in heaven, hell, or the land of the pink bunnies... Do you believe that our exsitance is not bound to a single lifetime?

I know that there is a life after death, but I’m not quite sure about there being an afterlife. Although it would be nice if there was.

I believe.... there is no eternal life. No possibility of an extension of ourselves existing after our body ceases to.

I think that death is a dreamless sleep from which there is no waking.

A life after death is a conforting thought. The belief has exestied since no one knows how long. The question is it reincarnation on to the earth, heven, hell, something inbetween. Well I like to think that there is but I believe that after death there is nothingness (as in no existince at all). But I would like to believe the Buddist(or mabey it is the Hindu or both) belief that you keep being reincarnated (based on karma) until you reach nirvana(state of emptiness without wants). Course im not buddist so dont quote me on any of that.

I'm unsure of what to think. I don't think that a typical idea of a heaven or anything exists, but I don't want to rule out any possibility of something being there afterwards. It's a comforting thought to think that this isn't all we get, but I'm not going to live my life on it...
