Barak Obama's DNC speech

Did anybody see Barak Obama's speech at the DNC last night? I would vote for him for president in a heartbeat. He touched on every issue that really bothers me, like the use of faith as a political tool, or using patriotism to divide anation and silence its minorities. I liked his move away from mud-slinging partisanship, and his point about "black america" and "white america." He is also a simply phenomenal orator, (he didn't look down once throught the whole speech!) he easily stole the show at the DNC last night.

So dare I say OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012!!

Did anybody hear that asshole commentator compare watching the speech to watching Tiger Woods play golf?
Right after Obama said we need to "turn off the television sets and eradicate the slander that says a black youth with a book is acting white" I was amazed at the jerk's (im not sure who it was) inability to understand that his comment exemplified what Obama was speaking about.

I whole heartedly agree. Obama is an exelent speaker, and will almost certainly rune for president eventually (2012 or 2016?). Being from Chicago, I'm doing as much as I can to get this man into the senate.

I never heard the commentor you were talking about, what station were you watching?

Obama was great and his speech was very energizing....but he may have been upstaged by the 12 year old saying Cheney needed a time out. I rolled.
