Right now, the mods appear to be more liberal, but they really are mixed. Some are conservative, others are liberal, and others don't speak much of politics. More vocal mods appear to be liberal right now.

I personally am liberal and believe that the general NS population is pretty mixed.

Beeing biased and haveing an opinion is two different things.

having opinions is different from being a biased mod. I have never seen Steph let her opinions get in the way of being a fair mod.

I mean, TRA got far more warnings before deletion than any conservative would have.

What about an option that says "Those who keep harping that NS is unfairly Liberal-Biased are an obsessed, deluded and sad minority". I'd choose that one as well.

The definition of liberal is different in America. But to European standards i'm liberal(thats what i voted). Dunno about the mods, never really got into a discussion with them so i cant judge on that.

Of course NS is liberal, just look at the UN.

I've noticed that none of the mods are anarchists or marxists. The mods have an anti-revolutionary bias!

I suppose it is what you think a Marxist is. I have heard a few right wingers talk about "Kerry the Ultra-Leftist."

That was early days, remember the addage "don't count you chickens before they hatch."

Also it is also a matter of perspective and interpretation. You are not using terms that a universally constant. For example, from you are standing you may see Kerry as dangerously liberal, but from my perspective he is fairly conservative (in a liberal kinda way).

THis is kinda vague. Sure, NS is pretty liberal. Sure, that probably includes a majority of mods. But I wouldn't say they're biased in their forum moderations because of their political idealogy. Biased in life, in preferences, sure. But does the poll refer to bias as in they let their political beliefs interfere with moderating, or whether they just lean to the left?
