Theresa Heinz Kerry
I thought that her speech was highly motivating tonight. I especially enjoyed her comments on the double standard concerning women with opinions. Women are called opinionated while men are called intelligent and well spoken. Why as a nation do Americans seem to distrust and dislike strong women, while singing praises to the women who simply say nothing and stick to their more traditional roles? I am also impressed with her international background. I think that she would be an excellent first lady if John Kerry is elected.
PS I was also surprised to hear that the GOP wanted her to run for senate, to hear them talk about her now she is a horrible person...interesting

No H in her first name, but I am quite impressed with her background as well.
I am just impressed that I spelled Heinz correctly :)

Strong women make me uncomfortable. It isn't very attractive to me to see a woman with such rage and anger. i'm Ok with women having their own opinions, but not to the point where they go total bitchy like Teresa or Hillary.

"Bitchy" = doesn't agree with your political philosophy (or would you include Linda Chavez as well?)

So women should spend their time thinking about what men find attractive? Its okay for them to have opinons(but only cause I say so) as long as they don't voice them.

Srtrong women are hot. I'm not saying that to kiss up or because I lik being 'on the bottom' (I don't), but because I don't like hanging around a wet noodle. I want someone to speak up when something stupid is going to happen or come up with her own thing to do. Man, that's hot. Anything else is baggage.

I laughed at it. thought it was pretty funny. so did a couple of my friends. Shes so funny. I just have a few things to say, and I bet someone will blow up in my face for it but, dont plan on replying
1. She gives money to the spouses of suicide bombers through some charity orginization, practically going "come on, have your little jihad, we will take care of your family for ya"
2. I swear I am just waiting for the day when a reporter asks her the wrong question and she just explodes. I have been thinking she was crazy for a long long time and her recent comment just proves my point. its all gonna get pent up until *boom* she blows up all over the press.

1. That's simply not true. The Heinz Foundation has an impeccable record. Moreso, if there was even the slightest inkling of truth to this, then the Department of Homeland Security would have frozen its (and her) assets. Saying stuff like that is just one more reason why I have little respect for the right side of the aisle.
2. So that puts her in the company of Cheney and Bush....but not in the same league of course since they both used profanity and she didn't.

Well, I really didn't like her reaction to the press for being misquoted. I don't think politicians should speak like that, and this goes double for VP Cheney...
She gives off the impression of being way to overbearing and intense, and I have the feeling that John Kerry really regards her as a liability, but is too afraid of being cut off from her family fortune to do anything about it.

Been several hours now.....still waiting. Of course, I'll be happy to supply you the links to the Bush family's connections with the bin Laden family. But I'm sure that doesn't matter right?

Does Ann Coulter make you uncomfortable? And why do strong women make you uncomfortable? Do you not like the idea of a woman being more successful or intelligent than you? Or does it just come down her being attractive? Is that all that matters to you? You seem like a pretty shallow person.
Yes a motivating speech, but if she says one word wrong, her speech writer will say, "why did you say that?" and she'll go "SHOVE IT YOU IDIODIC PIECE OF CRAP". And then go back to her wonderful supportive self.
I have news, it's all an act, people. I'd like to see her put her money where her mouth is in terms of helping people, she's a muti-millionaire, and her philanthropy is not even as big as Mariah Carey's, and Mariah isn't running for First Lady.
Anyway, this election is win-win for me, because if Bush gets back in, I'll see a good president again.
Kerry and his "Strong woman" get in, I can't wait to see them screw up bigtime and people saying, 'oh he didn't deserve to be president'.
And if anyone from a Third Party gets in, we'll have our first Third party member.
MY only advice, vote for who ya like, and then sit back and enjoy the ride.

I don't like Theresa Heinz Kerry. First she tells a reporter to "shove it" when he was only quoting her on what she really did say. And when she gets up there and talks she has a funny accent that is really hard to listen to. And on top of that she seems to always be looking down her nose at everybody, like she is really arrogant and stuffy.

Exactly! But because her husband is running for President of the USA, it suddenly comes under fire because the meda is filled with sharks with a desire to particpate in a feeding frenzy; also it's a slow day at the newspapers so they need filler.

Remember when she was a Republican? She called the democrats all kind of names, especially Ted "Perfect Driving Record" Kennedy. By the way, what is up with Kennedy, was he drunk when he gave his speech at the convention? They should remove the scotch from Mr Kennedys' green room next time. I was waiting for him to say "Vote Quimby!".
Oh boo fucking hoo. She told someone to shove it. Have we already forgotten about Cheney dropping the F-bomb?
