Think about all the technical difficulties they had when reporting live from Iraq...
Watch the DNC and think about all the technical difficulties they're having now. People's earpieces stop working. Video clips have stopped at least twice while I've been watching. And they're only on day two...

It's because they are trying to find out from the Democratic party what stories to show but the Dems are busy with convention.

Never mind the actual reporting. What really matters regarding the integrity of a news organization is snazzy graphics and other technical goodies.....

...it just seems to me that a news organization of CNN's stature would get things straightened out before they tried using them. It always seems like the time they do it live on TV is their test run.

I'd like to be able to say that it's because they put their money into research instead, however they had an equally abysmal record of failing to challenge the White House on their assertions prior to the war that I really can't do that....


I dunno. IT doesn't bother me that much I guess. like I said - I am more interested in the content than the presentation.

What? There is no such thing as a "via phone" just like there is no such thing as a "via satellite." "Via" is a word that means "by means of."

Example: I went to the store via bike.
I went to the store by means of bike.

It sounds funny, but that's the best example I could come up with...and I don't have a "via bike." Anyone have a "via pet"...

I like CNN. Mostlly because I hate Fox News with a passion. And CSPAN is too dry. And CBN...to religous...but I watch it anyway. HEHE!
