Ok so im bored, and i actually feel like seeing what people would vote. so choose who you would vote for if the election took place today. I'd love to limit it to the US population, since fortunately, most of the foreign country's hate Bush already. But all are free to vote, it's a free forum!

People always use the "Who would Osama vote for" line, but I seriously doubt he would vote for Kerry. Anyone wanna guess how much more effective Al Quaida's recruitment programs are thanks to Bush?

Between fiscal insolvency (Kerry), apocalyptic war (Bush), and wasting my vote (anyone else, so long as the vast majority believes whatever master TV says and thinks that there's no point to voting third party), I'll choose the option that's least likely to leave me dead.

Yes! Despite him being a Republican, which means he believes in a limited federal government. And if Bush is a Nazi, then Kerry is a Communist. Because the Nazi party had some sound political beliefs...Too bad Hitler was too focused on his ideology (the Holocaust) than a successul nation.

Imagine...if Hitler had the Jews work for him in decent working conditions, and you know...let them live...he could have had the most powerful nation in the world. And he would have won the war...not saying I aprove of his method, or the one I jsut said, because it's slavery, and that's jsut as horrible as killing them in the first place.

Osama has probably never voted in his life. But if he could, I'm sure he'd pick Clay Aiken.

When your knowledge of politcal systems is so bad.

Facism/Nazi is on the revolutionary side, not the conservative side, so it is in the same spectrum as Communism.

You might say Comm is far left left wing, and Nazi is far right left wing.

Liberals are centralist left wing.

Far right wing is actually things like Dynasties, Religeous states (any religeon), Rome, Sparta and any other system that is strictly focusing on zero changes in society.

Nazi and facist fail the conservitive test because the throw out the Monarchs (Kasier and King) of Italy and Germany, and erect an "ideal" state in its place. Thus they give a false pretense of being conservitive, as they "Preserve" bits and pieces of the old system after undermining it.

Yeah, the best idea os always to crawl into a little ball and hope everything goes away.

Short term effect: People hate US. But the ability to train terrorists and perform terrorist attacks is severly limited. Don't you think they would have striken back by now? Palestinians terrorists no longer get economic support from Saddam. Al Qaida no longer have training camps in Afghanistan. The Al Qaida network is destroyed. The will is still strong, but the ability is severly limited.

Long term effect: Afghanistan and Iraq have the possibility to establish peaceful democracys where people have a chance to build peaceful lives for themselves. People who are able to use their resources to build and live their peaceful lives have to much to lose by becoming terrorists.

If nothing had been done to provoke, there's absolutely no reason to belive that the terrorists would have problem recruiting people. At least not in countries like former Afghanistan and Iraq where people were living frustrated lives in poverty and lack of freedom while listening to the media blaiming western and american imperialism. Because that is the real recruitment for terrorism.

Btw: Have you wondered why so few americans are taken hostage in Iraq, compared to people from other nations? Do you think it's because the US is respected and lover, or do you think it possibly has something to do with the US not giving in to blackmailing terrorists?

Terrorism works only because of attitudes you show in your post. If you are afraid to stand up for yourself and do what you belive in because you think that will anger the terrosists, then the terrorists own your sorry ass. And you can be sure as hell they will strike you if you don't do what they want.

I voted for someone who are ready to stand up for what he believes in, in the face of the whole earth if necessary. And yes, I'm a foreigner. Not all foreigners hate Bush! :)

Oh yeah... most NationStates people actually THINK...

That's really profound. Only those who agree with me think.

That the reason might be that people from the whole world may vote here, and not only US citizens, has never crossed your mind? If not, I don't think you're in a position to claim superior thinking abilities to half the US population.

I supported Kucinich in the primaries...

And if I could, I would vote Kerry on November 2.

However, since I am too young to vote, I will abstain from voting in this thread.

The most recent gallup poll Ive seen was from last week, and it showed that even with the number of votes that Nader will take away from Kerry, (wich by the way is significantly less than last election) Kerry still wins the election by a slim margin.

Keep in mind that no president incumbent with ratings this low, this far from the election, has ever won re-election.

Good News for America.

Kerry 04.

1) You are nuts (or a Neo-Nazi).
2) The communists had more military might. Look up the battle of Stalingrad (more people killed in one battle than in the American Civil War, and the Commies won too).

3) Apart from calling one candidate 'fascist', this doesn't have a lot to do with elections...

And you can be sure as hell they will strike you if you don't do what they want.

There are several points i would like to make regarding this.

1) Clearly terrorists are still being trained, which if you think about it isn't very hard, all they have to do is strap a bomb to themselves and blow!!! Some 65 people killed today, i dont know if you call that limiting anything! Clearly they are still quite organized because over 900 amerians have been killed as well as many more foreighners trying to oppose this terrorism. Thats a lot if you ask me.

2) That peaceful democracy crap you spew, STOP WATCHING/READING PROPAGANDA!!! When DOCTORS in Afganistan get killed, because they are trying to help, thats not peace. Thats unhappiness and desparation on the part of the people. If the people were so eager for democracy as you say, they would stop blowing themselves up, because clearly something is wrong. Peaceful lives my ass. When a foreign country goes into a land, kills civilians, i sure as hell wouldnt be happy and just waiting for those free elections.

3) Americans not being taken hostage in Iraq isn't because we don't give into blackmail, its because its easier to catch truck drivers from other countries. because they arent being protected, because most americans in iraq are SOLDIERS not truck drivers. Who do you think is easier to capture?

4) i dont think ANYONE wants to give into the terrorists, but the people in iraq aren't all terrorists. its as if the war on terror=war on iraq. thats just conservative BS. There comes a time for respect and education, not guns and killings. And Bush wants to be remembered as the peace president??? WTF?!?!?!
