Sandy Berger?

Do you think anything will result from these serious charges against Mr. Berger?

He is accused of removing top secret documents which relate to 9/11 from the national archives by placing them in his pants.

Partisanship

Really? Is it partisanship that he may have knowingly commited a felony, and that witnesses at the archives saw him stuffing the documents into his pants?
Did partisanship make him remove those documents?

I'm an independent in every issue worldwide. I just stated that his actions will be used. Mini bill clinton situation.

I'm sure you're also filled with righteous indignation about the outing of CIA employee Valerie Plame by someone high up the Bush administration and the leaking of classified al-Qaeda phone intercepts from the office of Sen. Shelby (R-Ga). Or are you?

Actually I am, whenever national security is at stake or a crime has been committed I'm outraged. As a libertarian I feel that everybody should be held accountable. No one is above the law. If Bush committed crimes then he should be impeached. As my party will not likely win the election, I don't really care who wins. Either way we are screwed. If Lancelot Link (GWB) or Lurch (Kerry) win it doesn't matter, both are losers. Only the names are changed.

I'd like to see a maximum security prison built for the people in government. Re-educate them until they learn that America is our land, not their's, and teach them that they work for the people, and are not entitled to any special treatment.

So in November remember to vote like in the movie, "Brewsters Millions", and not vote for any of these career politicians.

It's Clintons fault!

Sorry I was channeling a Republican. ;)

Have they figured out what the documents pertain too?

Probably not anything to damning.

Berger should get some sort of punishment as he did break the rules. Having done the Goverment thing, I know there is no "oops, didn't know I had them" excuse.

I'd like to know how the heck he got those papers out of the archives anyway? It's like Ft Knox in there!

I assume they were copies of secret documents and that he stuffed them in his undies. Can't really blame those people for not stopping him. Have you seen Sandy Berger, no way would I put my hands in there. God only knows what else you'd find, maybe whitewater papers or at the least Jimmy Hoffa.

Just had to jump in here...as far as Plame...not like she couldn't be found in the Langley phonebook, she was merely a low-level analyst...not like she was some super secret frontline operative?
