Revenge of the Sith.

Ok the title sounds good but will the movie make it?

After the first two I kind of think it will be mediocre at best. Hayden is a horrible actor. As one critic said(not exact): he is supposed to be dark on the edge. The future Hitler of Space. Yet, he comes off like a teenager that was just told he can't use the family car.
Oh well. I will probably see it. It will be like going to a funeral of an old friend.

I'll see it, I didn't actually hate the first movie, of course, I was a lot younger, looking back it doesn't compare to the first three, but then again, what does.

I liked the second movie, or rather the parts that should've been only in the movie, the beginning, the Obi-Wan storyline, and the battle, the other hour is complete and utter crap.

I should have posted this yesterday. A few points about Revenge of the Sith:

-- People who expect to see the most hated character die will be sorely disappointed....

-- The film will kick ass. Grievous alone is enough of a reason to watch it....

-- Hayden Christensen is not a bad actor. Lucas gave him the worst possible lines ever to work with. "My mouth is dry," comes to mind immediatly....watch him some of his other works; he's a good actor....

-- Anyone who liked TESB, will love Revenge of the Sith....

Im a closet Star Wars Nerd, so I can tell you what made the Original trilogy great..

Lucas didnt direct them.
Well, Star Wars, he did, but not the last two.

There are just so many plotholes, and questions left by the last five movies, that theres no way that one film is going to answer them all, to everyones satisfaction.
The hype will be huge, and Im not going to be surprised when this next one doesnt live up to it.

As much as I love Star Wars, the last two movies, for the most part...

Sucked.

I dont have high expectations, but I will see it regardless.

Don't see how they can fit one in. It's about wiping out the Jedi.

Probably the big fight of the film will be between whiney Hayden and Samual Jackson.

Even if it's just a little glimpse of space battle at the end of the Clone Wars I'll be fine. And I will be severely disappointed if Samuel Jackson is taken out by Hayden, he deserves better.

Agreed. I just hope Darth Vader chokes Jar-Jar to death with the force. "You have failed me for the last time, Jar-Jar!"

I agree. As one friend said "I can't accept the guy who said "AK-47. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherfucker in the room...Accept no substitutes." being killed from that whiney mommas boy.

The Battle for Coruscant will be the biggest space battle in the entire move saga....fear not about space battles, for the opening fight will satisfy everyone's needs.....and, well, I cannot comment about Sam Jackson's death as I don't want to spoil anything more....

if its Boba I will cry and walk out and burn all my starwars stuff,
Boba rocked in the OT why did they have to put him in the new movies, and ruin it, he was cool because he was so mysterious, they have destroyed one of my favourite charactors, it had better be Vader or Palpatine.

Boba Fett is hardly in Revenge of the Sith, if at all. Daniel Logan did visit the set when filming, but there's no real evidence to state that he filmed anything. And....what had better be Vader or Sidious?

SPOLIER ALERT

1. We finally get to see Anakin revived as Darth Vader.
2. Obi wan and Anakin fight in the longest cinematic fight EVER.
3. We get to see the war between the council and the sith (Mace Windu getting killed.)
4. We finally see how Yoda managed to get his tiny ass to Dagobah.
5. We have the pleasure of seeing Count Dooku die.
6. It's the beginning of the Empire for Christ's sake!
7. We get to see Palpatine become the Emperor.
8. The battle for Coruscant is going to be VAST.
9. We see a new character (Droid with 4 arms and 4 lightsabers with a really cheesy name... writing at it's best).
10. Luke and Leia are born.

What are you talking about? This next film is going to rock!

Apparently, part of the film is set on Kashyyk, the Wookie Homeworld where we will 'first' meet Chewbacca......

General Grievous.....and he, technically, only has two arms...they can split into two so he can wield four lightsabers....he carries six or seven at one time, though, and those are what he has taken from fallen Jedi......and what's wrong with his name?

This is correct. Kasyhyyk is confirmed for Revenge of the Sith. And you won't just meet Chewie.....you'll meet a lot of his friends....(and you'll get to understand why Han says that Wookiees can rip people's arms off...)

I don't think we'll see Jar Jar in the next film. There's too much going on - and those producers won't kill him off, he's a kids favourite.

It better be good. The last two, though the FX were awesome, the writing was piss poor. I think Lucas was so wrapped up in the CGI aspect that dialog and characture development went out the window.

I've heard some scuttlebutt that the next movie will have a difficult time getting PG-13 rating. Apparently there are some really violent scenes. Violent for Star Wars that is.

It will have a difficult time getting a PG rating. PG-13 is what it should be rated, but Lucas is going to be pulling his weight around Hollywood to keep it at PG, as to not alienate the little kids (to whom Star Wars is actually made for..."it's a modern myth for kids," ~ Lucas). The scenes involving Anakin's plunge [double-meaning] into the darkside are very graphic.....

No--plenty of offense. Lucas can't write and has never been able to. Star Wars and Empire were ghost-written from Lucas' ideas, but the woman who wrote them died after Empire. Is it any wonder that the last three movies have gone from acceptably bad to piece of shit to vile excrement laden abomination?

I've decided--I'm not going to see this one until I've heard many, many reviews and have guarantees that it doesn't suck balls. I imagine I won't be seeing it in the theater.
The Black Forrest
26-07-2004, 19:02
If Georgie did the scripts himself, then I expect it to as plain as the other three.

The "revamping" claims is nothing more then BS. He knew full well that Spiderman and the Return of the King would slaughter his film so he moved it back a year.

Besides, he has an attitude now as I recall some comment where he said he was going to finish this series and then make the films he wants to make and if people don't like them then that is just too bad.

Ewww kind of sore George? People wait 25 years and get Metaclorians!

Ahhh well. As said I am going in with low expectations. If it stinks then I won't be pissed.

If it's ok then I will be happy.

There is little chance this think will be a block buster. IMHO.

I think it'll still make a lot of money, mainly because there are tons of people who will still go see it even if it sucks, just because it's the last one.
