So much for being a "regular" guy

John Kerry made the first throw in the NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox game tonight.

Let's just say it wasn't very impressive...

Sorry, folks...this is too easy. By the way, notice where each one is standing, in reference to the pitcher's mound. And, one of them didn't even make it to the plate, while the other threw a strike.

Proof that Bush is better than Kerry at something.

I don't understand. You're making some sort of judgement about Presidential candidates based on their ability to throw a baseball?

if anything, that makes Bush the irregular one. My guess is that the average American man couldn't throw a strike in an MLB game. (and many probably wouldn't make it over the plate- lol...although he did look like he was pretty close...tee hee)

Yeah, Kerry was standing pretty close to the plate and still couldn't make it over the plate...unless you count one of the bounces.

It's pretty sad that people are choosing presidential candidates based on their ability to throw a little white ball.

So what you're saying is that Nolan Ryan would be the best president ever?

This topic is a textbook example of slippery slope fallacy. It's hilarious.

I don't like the idea of politicians throwing the first pitches of baseball games, they should go even further back in the game, to mowing the field or moving around the tarp, I'd pay to see that.

Nolan may not be the best candidate for pres., but he sure has a lot more integrity than the current president.

Well, Panhandlia infers that Bush's ability to throw a strike makes him a better choice for president. By that logic, Nolan Ryan, with his record 5,714 major league strikeouts, would be the best president history has ever seen.
