An extention to the "How many of you live in the US"-thread. Feel free to specify in the thread. Also, if you're happy whit where you live and if not, where you'd like to live.

I live in Sweden, and quite happy with it.

I live in Florida and go to school in Louisiana. I've lived in Paris on and off before. I really have to choose the U.S. x1000. :) I really like this country's character and hope that the future will be bright. I hope we change our foreign policy (not just issues like Iraq, but also our NAFTA meddling in countries in South and Central America). I hope we stop being so idiotically centered around two parties that don't really make sense to a large portion of the population. In short, there are lots of things I want to change, but I love living here.

It should probably be noted that my parents are wealthy and I'm embarassingly-privileged. Anybody else who wants to post about where they live and how happy they are there should probably mention socio-economic status too.

Come from a "middle-class"-family.

I live in the UK...in the middle of it near Birmingham.

I love England and although i've travelled and seen some wonderful places it's always good to get back home to this lovely island!

some of my favourite areas (apologies to those of you who are not very familiar with this country and to whom this won't mean a lot)

The Long Mynd, Canterbury, York, the Weald of Kent, Heddon valley in Devon, Dovedale, the Cotswolds, Cambridge...maybe i should stop there :)

I live smack dab in the middle of the United States: Kansas City, Missouri, and have lived in New York and Southern California. I like the Midwest, the place and the people, and am proud (for the most part) of what we accomplish. Even so, I would love to live overseas for an extended period (instead of just travel there), possibly somewhere in the UK, Spain, Australia or Japan. I'll always come home, but I require perspective. I intend to act on that plan just as soon as I figure out how to do it (job, place to live, how to pack up my dog, etc.). Any ideas are welcome. :)

the Cotswolds
I'm near there: Lovely place in the summer, especially when 20 mins on foot puts you in fields away from all the houses and traffic.

Pity it's bloody expensive over here.

I live right near the great candy capital of the world, Chicago. I love the Windy City and am the UN Delegate for the 24-nation region of Chicago here in NS. But i wouldn't mind living in Europe becuase i'm a huge soccer (aka football; futbol) fan and we don't get much of that here. Just in the past few days, Chicago's star DaMarcus Beasley was shipped off to Eindhoven. My nation is named after my home town.

Always interesting how close other people live to you... I live in the extreme north-western corner of Missourah-er, Missouri (really, I don't pronounce it Missourah) about 2-1.5 miles from the Iowa-Missouri border.

As far as I know, we're middle class. *shrug*

I'm a proud "Crazy Canuck" ( for those that don't know, that's what Canada's skiing team was nicknamed in the 60's or around there).
