Who would win in a fight; Jesus or Ghandi?

Okay, if you came in here thinking this was real, you are a fucking retard. Could we have a few interesting conversations that don't involve god or Bush? Just once or twice. Just for a change.

This is a totally valid battle, and I think that Ghandi wins hands down. Jesus was too much into turning the other cheek. While Ghandi's arsenal included that move, he had a lot of other tricks up his sleeve and his message was just as appealing as Jesus' without all the puritanical baggage that would be added on in the following centuries.
But then again, I could see how Ghandi might try to open by starving himself. And in response, Jesus would turn the other cheek, allowing Ghandi to continue starving??
In brief, I don't see how you think this topic is ridiculous :)

Jesus. He would come not with peace but a sword. And Ghandi would be all like "I will not resist you" and Jesus would slice his fucking head off. It would rock. They would make millions on the Pay-Per-View rights, but then everybody would feel cheated because it would all be over in like three seconds.
They would enter the ring, then stare at each other till one passed out. And I think Ghandi would be the one to pass out because he probably just recovered from fasting.

That just doesn't sound like Jesus. But Jesus would win no matter what, because he can just come back to life everytime he dies and keep on fighting.

To my knowledge, they're both dead (or "lacking a body on earth" if you prefer), so I'd have to call it a draw.

this is a silly question why would they be fighting in the first place? don't they both want peace and love and all that crap?

My role model, Gandhi would win! He'd make India self-sufficient and everything! Also, he had more supporters in life.

And look how long his peaceful philosophy survived in India! Not only was he assassinated but they're one of the growing number of nations in the region with alarming rates of nuclear weapons proliferation.
I suppose Jesus had the same long-term effects though. He was executed and then touted by the Roman Empire as it converted all the heathens (like Ghandi... maybe that's why they're fighting.)
i think the two would become best freinds forever after the fight reguardless of who won becuase they'd both just forgive each other.

Ghandi would use his magical fire breath on Jesus and Jesus would get in A FREAKING TANK!! and destroy Ghandi but then the three stooges would shoot Jesus with high-powered machine guns. Thus making me the winner. :sniper:

Maybe you people didn't get the idea. This topic is about how people (and thanks for not proving me wrong with your actions) are not very bright. It has nothing to do with Jesus or Ghandi.

They would both look at each other, wonder why anyone would ever put them in this incredibly silly situation and then head off to a local spot to talk shop over drinks, proving yet again how they were both better men than the majority of people who post on this forum.
heheh...I previewed the topic to check if you were sane...
so now I know that this wasn't real!

You're welcome. And this only proves that we think your initial topic is pretty weak, dude. This is lots more fun.

Well, I have the answer right here!
www.googlefight.com !!!
You punch in two topics/names/things/blahblahblah.
It does a google search for both, and compares the number of resultant pages to determine a winner. So we do a search for Jesus and Ghandi and...
Jesus wins in a solid knockout! 5,330,000 pages for Jesus as compared to 224,000 results for Ghandi!
(maybe if there's another way to spell Ghandi in a different language it'd pull up more results? try it yourself!)

Dunno about Ebay, but I saw one at a PacSun at the mall the other day. Along with various "Jesus/Mary is my home boy/girl" shirts.

i honestly came here to see what other kinds of people
might have and why.
as for the question, i think it's pretty obvious or really
ought to be, that there would be no fight.
the nazarene carpenter was a revealer of organized belief
and ghandiji wasn't. but both were about trying to
understand and prevent the causes of conflict.
however much the one may have been misinterpreted as an
excuse for doing just the opposite.
i think they'd be doing their things;
ghandi with his spinning wheel and christ with his saws and
drills, just mellowing and being cool and maybe shairing
a regret or two over how they could both have been so
misinterpreted and maybe brainstorming on how and what they
could have done better to have gotten their real messages
accross and through to people.

(as for the googlefight thing, i think if the percentage of
people having access to the internet were as high in the
entire rest of the planet as it is in the u.s. and western
europe, those numbers might be very different. maybe same
resault, maybe not. there may be more people in this world
who have heard of christ and mohammid then ghandi or budha
or lao tsu, i don't know. but would that still really
matter? christianity and islam probably have more
publicity foot soldiers then an other single personalities
in earth history. but again what has this really to do
with anything? it only indicates that the majority of
people who put content on the net and have access to doing
so live in contries dominated by 'western' phylosophies and beliefs.)

It is fairly obvious that neither would actually fight the other, but Ghandi would "loose" as not doubt he would die first, no doubt after starving to death in protest at the relations between India and Pakistan (along with other issues on politics on the Indian sub continent).
His only hope for winning (not that he would want to) would be dependent on Abu Hamza or some other nutter doing in Jesus first. And Ghandi would be killed by such a nutter soon afterwards anyway.
Jesus would win, because he can turn into Space Jesus and hug the entire world to death. What's Ghandi going to do? Starve at him? Not a very good superpower, if you ask me.

yeah, it was meant as a joke. It's not meant to be a fight in the terms of which is better/stronger/whatever, but which is more well known (or well known in the more computerized areas of the world). A friend and I spent a full class period or two playing with this thing when we found it.
