Mad TV Sucks

I hate Mad TV, that show depends on annoying characters and very crude humor for ratings. I don't know how anybody can watch that show. SNL and Chappelle's (sp?) Show are ten times better. Yet channels like Comedy Central play Mad TV all afternoon almost every day. It makes me so mad how it is so popular, yet it sucks so bad!
Oh, and can someone please tell me what is so funny about Mrs. Swan?

actually, SNL hasnt been any good for 8 years. mad tv right now is better than snl is, snl has gotten extremely crude, more so than mad tv, crude to the point of it not even being funny. the last time snl was funny was 1996

actually, SNL hasnt been any good for 8 years. mad tv right now is better than snl is, snl has gotten extremely crude, more so than mad tv, crude to the point of it not even being funny. the last time snl was funny was 1996
True. Plus Chappelle's show is also very crude. (funny, but crude)
What I've seen of Mad TV has been way stupider that SNL is

People complain about basically every show sucking. I like all three shows. I prefer SNL to all of them though. MAD TV does rely on moe crude, immature humor but they have some great skits. The impersonations are great, especially John Madden, Shaq and Steven Seagal.
SNL is still good I think. The new cast is still funny, even without Will Ferrel. I haven't seen it in a few weeks, but the times I did watch it, I saw several skits I liked.

SNL is still good I think. The new cast is still funny, even without Will Ferrel. I haven't seen it in a few weeks, but the times I did watch it, I saw several skits I liked.
Jimmy Fallon is leaving SNL too.

All comedy shows are crude to a certain extent. At least all of SNL's characters don't give you a headache. I can't even watch Mad TV, because the characters annoy me so much. Like the hyper UPS guy, Mrs. Swan, and that really big guy that plays a boy with a whiny voice.

at least mad tv has permanent characters, has snl even had recurring characters since the chris farley and adam sandler left?

The only reason Mad TV is so popular is because all of the people that watch it can relate to it, because everyone who watches that show is either racist, ignorant, 4 years old, stoned or not what I'd call intellectual... :)

It's a sketch comedy show, recurring characters are good, but the show is not supposed to revolve around 4 certain people, that's what a sitcom is.

I've seen the studio audience before, it's all college-age guys wearing their baseball caps on backwards.

the show is not only thsoe 4, there are other skits, they are just recurring characters because they are POPULAR, its called ratings
