Most non-evil American, eh?

I don't know for sure, as there are plenty of non-evil people with low profiles, but in the public eye... um...

Does Neil Gaiman count as an American if he lives there?

A Pubby is my own slang for "Republican",
A Parody is where someone (like you) pretends to be someone he doesn't like (say republicans)to make fun of them.

Henry Rollins. I saw that crazy bastard's spoken word show live.. even without an instrument in his hand, he's incredibly entertaining

If you want something uber-political, then I'll stick to my guns with Eugene Debs or good 'ole Big Bill Haywood.

I'd have to go with Martin Luther King Jr. He wasn't for violence, and wanted social justice. That's not very evil.

If by 'non-evil' you mean 'good,' I'd say...

The Founding Fathers, Booker T. Washington, Robert E. Lee, that one teacher who got hanged and said he regretted he had only one life to give for his country, Stonewall Jackson, Douglas MacArthur, George Patton, Grover Cleveland, Calvin Coolidge, Henry Cabot Lodge Sr. (not Jr., though, God no!), Martin Dies, and plenty I can't name off the top of my head...
