Not bloody likely. It'll start getting better some time after post election season. So I’d say about six more months of crap are to be expected.

I posted threads on alien contact and the SETI program as well as the "Induce" Act that's screaming through the Senate right now, so I'm doing my part.

The reason those types of threads are all over the place, is because they're easy to argue about. It's sort of like those groups that moan about how there's no family programming or entertainment, but when a truly family oriented movie or T.V. show or stage production comes around, they never support it.

I think BWO has a point: quite a few people got turned off by the technical problems that accompanied the switch. -- Hopefully some of the interesting posters will come back.

But, yeah, even under the best of circumstances the majority of threads will be garbage/repetitive. That's the way it goes.

You see....it's been like this since the beggining (of NS that is). Ever since nations started wriggling out of the water, their gills drying, and mouths gulping, lead by [violet]...it has been "hey let's talk politics"(though [violet] rarelly posts). As the primitive slimy nations (who crashed, and died quite often) evolved into large scaly nations with big pointy teeth, and a fixation on D&D. The essential core of these beings has stayed the same...though not as slimy, and helpless...they still enjoy to bitch abotu politics...and beat the same topics to death...over and over and over again...it's Nation States way.

It's been this way for over a year and a half...it's not changing.

Like it or like it not: the US is the only superpower left, and their foreign actions have a habit of calling attention to themselves (to put it mildly).

Reading Americans debate foreign internal politics (Northern Ireland, for example) is hilarious but simultaneously horrendous. There are only so many times you can post "What! You really have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, do you?" in a single thread before it becomes tiresome.
