While your authoritarian critique of the modern republic was disturbing, I wouldn't say you are in any sense boring.

Thanks, guys. I asked because no one seems to take a big interest in my threads, or sometimes, even answer my questions. I guess it's because I don't say things like "George Bush must die", or "France is a nation of whores and bastard children". When someone says something like that, then it really stirs the pot.

See, that's the thing. Most of the people around here only respond to things like that. I've found that whenever I try to make a sensible thread, it's either ignored, or made to be a flamewar.

I don't agree with a lot of what you say, but I wouldn't call you boring. In fact, I tend to prefer to talk to people who I don't agree with. But meh, I been off for a while, just getting back on now.

You're not boring, PE. While I may not agree with a lot of what you post, it's always nice to see someone who's able to post their opinions while eloquently providing the rationale that they're based on.

Like someone else said, lots of people on this board are more interested in arguing that discussing an issue or even debating it. The problem is, posts such as yours are hard to "argue" with, by "argue" I mean basically people just posting "I'm right and you're not," back and forth at one another. Discussion and debate are harder, take more time and hold less interest, it seems.

So, I guess you can look at it like this. You're not boring, but a lot of other people certainly are.
