Catwoman

I have not seen this movie. I have no intention to. I have read reviews. Supposedly one of the worst movies ever, I hear. The only (and this is actually minor) incentive I can think of is that you can see Halle Berry in tight black leather. And you know what I heard on the radio? It's a man. That's right, when you see Halle Berry jumping around or doing anything other than walking slowly in Catwoman, that's a man. I find it hard to believe that Warner Brothers would make this movie, and harder to believe that anyone would see it. So I pose a question to you, the humble forum browser. Do you plan on seeing this movie?

A man. Wow. Excuse me, I need to go rinse out my inner-most thoughts.

Worst movie ever.
Worst plot ever.
Worst comic book translation ever.
Leather-dressed Girl for random secksinezz.

Yep, I won't be seeing this one- Hallie Berry shouldn't be degrading herself like this (both with the blatant leather for appeal to males [works on me!] and for being in such a horrible movie) and should petition to have her name removed from the credits out of shame...

I haven't seen this movie, but I will be soon (because I work at a theater and it only cost me gas to see it...). I would have seen it today but I slept until 3pm then had to work 5-close. Anyway, tonight while I was working, someone came out and told me the first 10 minutes was just pictures of cats, then he said he was going to play with himself in the bathroom (not sure why he told me this...)

Well, if he was going to play with himself after seeing ten minutes of cats, I am honestly scared for you.

I wouldn't be surprised if this comic was based on real events.

I like one guys report.

"After doing the low key role in the movie Monsters Ball, Halle did this movie to remind Hollywood she is just a pretty face."

He also said the only thing worst then Halle and the movie is Sharon Stone.

If she was naked then it might be worth a rental! But she isn't.....

Yes, they seriously are planning a comedic Green Lantern. *sob*.

Catwoman would have been sold out nationwide for like a whole week if it was the same movie except with a different title--"Halle Barry in various positions in a skimpy leather costume...oh yea, she's got a whip too"

With Jack Black, who is an excellent actor...just not for a super hero...

You...you're joking, right? Nobody would do that. Nobody is that stupid. I don't believe you. I can't believe you. This can't be true.

The Village Voice (http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0429/holcomb.php) has a hysterical review of Catowman (and I, Robot as well). Here's a taste. Faithful neither to Batman creator Bob Kane's original femme fatale nor to any of the filmed incarnations thereof (including those essayed by Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, and Michelle Pfeiffer), this plodding, by-the-numbers superhero flick has all the feline grace of a walleyed mastiff.
Read the whole thing--it's worth it.

Are they really? They way they are trying to kill the Comic book movies, I would not be surprised.

Hmmm I am still wondering about Tom Cruise as Iron Man.

I foresaw this.

Comic Book movies have had trouble in the past. We are in a golden age of comic book movies, thanks to a good one or two that made movie companies realize that there is money to be made in GOOD movies.

But we are not all that far from 'Steel' and 'Fantastic Four'.

I hope we don't fall back into the dungheap of comic book movie sucktitude. :(

Your quote is from the series called The Prisoner. I believe it was made in England. Iron Maiden also wrote a song about the show and included the same sound byte you quoted as the intro to the song.

Please pour my Mountian Dew into your modem and send it to me.

Spawn and Punisher didn't look very appealing to me. And I'm not about to pay money to see a movie that doesn't look appealing. I didn't pay to watch either Spiderman (although, after watching the first, the second did look appealing, the third is starting to seem not so much appealing). I won't be paying to see Catwoman.

Come on they're great...

If not Sopawn at least see the Punisher... It is very good.... And this was the first time the preview didn't give away too much.

I remember I didn't see Starsky ad Hutch cause they had 10 different previews that gave away most jokes.

Starsky and Hutch was okay.

Ooooh...want to watch something funny? Watch Shanghai Knights then watch Around the World in 80 Days...
Anyway...I might watch both of those movies, but I won't be buying DVDs.

They should have just brought back Eartha Kitt to do it instead. She’s still in pretty good shape and could have probably even done her own stunts.

Heh, any game EA makes is shit, especially if it's based on a movie license.

And the SomethingAwful forums (http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=1143616) pretty much agree with the movie being shit :D

Medal of Honor isn't shit. It isn't as good as some of the other games in it's class, but it isn’t shit. In fact it's better than most games in it's class.

Granted, MOHAA is one of the few exceptions. They did have to milk it with loads of expansion packs, though, which is again their style.

Didn't like MEdal of Honor....

The so called awesome D-Day sequence was horrible when I played it... maybe all the hype made me expect something much greater...

Anyways Call of Duty on the other hand is awesome as far as that genre goes.

Yeah, the expansions aren’t that great for it. Spearhead was too damn short. I beat it in only two days. Which was as fast as it took me to beat Altered Beast when I first got that. Then again I only got it for ten bucks. But when it first came out it was more than that. I‘m just glad that I didn‘t buy it when it first came out.

Alright back on topic. Halle Berry I bet will be nominated as the worst Catwoman ever by loyal Batman fans everywhere. She has to rely on showing more skin than any other Catwoman to compensate for her lack of acting ability.
