Depends on the cake and on the pie. I've had some horrible cake and marvelous pie in my lifetime. I've had amazing cake and vomit-inducing pie too. Good job. Now I'm hungry.

I think that pie is just solid pudding in crust, which, dont get me wrong, can be very tasty! :)
Cake is defined by the frosting thats on it :)

cake is a nice dessert to enjoy in the sprign and summer, while pie is great to enjoy in the autumn and winter.
