It does not matter if you are conservative, liberal, or whatever, you should be apalled by the fact that this is not common knowledge.

Boogiedown, you're right that this hasn't gotten the reporting it deserves, but to call the video download irrefutable evidence is a little disingenuous. I've seen Hersh's speech, and damning as it is, irrefutable would be actual video of the sodomy taking place, not just Hersh telling us about it.

That said, Hersh has more credibility than any other reporter working today, and I have no reason to doubt him on this story. He broke it after all, and has been on top of it for months now.

You are right, I thought a piece of the actual footage was at the end of the video, but I can't view it right now cause im at work. Still, I don't think a well-known reporter would risk their reputation by outright making something up, I will try to find the actual video and post it.

1)I highly doubt the story has any truth to it whatsoever, seeing that Hersh is the one telling it;

2)On the other hand, if it is true, all I can say is we better start seeing some court-martials!

If its true we had better start seeing some resignations/impeachment proceedings, I call your attention to this paragraph from the first link:

I don't think the actual sodomy footage is out there to be found right now, but good luck in trying to track it down.

You are right the footage hasn't released yet. Im now trying to find out who has it so I can try to convince people to put pressure on them to release it.

EDIT: The New Yorker and The Washington Post both have copies of the sodomy video, I bet they are under some kind of gag order until congress is done reviewing the tape, but lets still send them letters about it!

No, I don't think he made it up, I just think some embellishment and exaggeration went into the story. But like I said, if it did happen, I definitely want to see the culprits court-martialed! By the way, thanks for disagreeing without flaming!

Well, either he saw a tape of prisoners being sodomized or he didn't, I don't see much room for exageration. What may have been exagerated is the evidence of how high up the chain of command this goes, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
