I'm going to quote Talib Kweli: "The president's a Bush and the vice president's a Dick. So a whole lot of fucking is what we're going to get."

I have serious reservations about Bush being elected. I have a feeling if he was elected he would attempt to get sanctions on Iran, which would lead to war. We're stretched as it is, we should consolidate.

Kerry:"Yes, Bush responded to WTC attacks much better than Clinton did, BUT I GOT 3 PURPLE HEARTS!!!"

Also, Whoopie Goldberg brought up that interesting bit of trivia too. However, imagine all the fun you can have with "whoopie".

Don't you actually have to get elected before you can be re-elected?

(and it's a joke so anyone who is thinking of giving me a civics lesson, save your damn breath. or fingers. oh, just piss off.)

What does that mean? "Bush responded to WTC attacks much better than Clinton did"? That is a bald-faced lie repeated enough by the vast right-wing conspiracy that people believe it. Clinton didn't go invade a country at the time because it wasn't nearly the same scale of attack. But Clinton went after Osama bin Laden a lot, which is more than I can say for Bush during his first eight months in office (Operation Ignore). Bush did not prioritize al Qaeda, despite warnings from Clinton advisers. Not to mention a fat fucking lot of good he's done us by destroying a sovereign country that did nothing to us and posed no threat, while at the same time giving the finger to the entire international community (oh yeah, except the "Coalition of the Willing"). And how's Afghanistan doing these days? Not too well.

Don't forget about the lies about the weapons of mass destruction. That was a biggie.

like a friend of mine once said though "sometimes choosing the lesser evil, can make things worse"

and so far I am not going to vote for either, I will vote for some other candidate

and no, its not wasting my vote

Its me actually going through with my right to vote for whomever I want.

I agree completely, and I take comfort in the idea that while you won't be voting for the guy I support, you won't be voting for the opponent with the largest chance of defeating him.

nice view

although seriously too many people complain about the voters who vote for other candidates and "steal votes for some other candidate"

if they really wanted change, they would actually venture into seeing what other candidates have to offer and for once give a twist to this country during election day..

eh something like that

You know I have one handy. Do you want to let it run? It's running mate could be some moldy cabbage.

It's running mate could be some moldy cabbage. No, because given a choice between a wilted tomato plant and some moldy cabbage and Kerry/Edwards, I'll take Kerry/Edwards. They're far, far better than Bush/Cheney. Wilted tomato/moldy cabbage is only marginally better than Bush/Cheney.

That's funny. That is what a friend told me when he said he voted for the shrub! ;)

People forget that you should be able to vote for whom ever you want. Last I checked we had that right.

Things are pretty screwed if you are getting the "don't waste your vote logic" If Kerry was amazing, then that kind of logic wouldn't be needed. Same for the Shrub!

Oh well.....

Shrub and Kerry are both corporate pawns, but a Bush defeat is a defeat of the far right and sadly only the Democrats have a chance right now so that is where our votes must go.

After we Re_defeat bush , then we must work hard on grassroots efforts to get someone who truely cares about America, Environment, Sound Foreign Policy, and Democracy.

No offense, but I'd appreciate it if you watched your language. Anyway, if Bush did get re-elected, I'd do two things:

1)Drop to my knees, clutch my head in both hands, and scream, "NOOOOOO! WHY, GOD, WHY?"

2)After weeping in sorrow for a few minutes, I'd wipe the sweat from my forehead and mutter, "Phew, at least Kerry didn't get elected."
