Why do we have to start an America bashing section in almost EVERY post? I'm an American, plus I'm from Texas! I don't give a shit what you think about Bush or my country! Do you think I have a choice in where I was born? No!

Well, when threads are about world politics or current affairs, you really should expect to talk about the US in there, if you don't like it just don't go there. Start your own thread about the coolest type of llama and I gaurantee there will be no US bashing, or Euro-bashing, or bashing in particular... I think.

I would believe it is because we bailed them out three times.....WWI, WWII, and their cute little situation in Vietnam....they owe us what Jar Jar would call a "life-debt." Not to mention, they haven't exactly had the most effective military force since, say, Napolean....(a Corsican...go figure...)

Not to mention, they haven't exactly had the most effective military force since, say, Napolean....(a Corsican...go figure...)

Since when did swearing invalidate a point? If I was explaining the Law of Gravity, and every third word of my explanation was an obscenity, are you telling me that the Law of Gravity intrinisically loses value and/or credibility for it?

Some people swear. Some people don't. In my experience, it's a habit like biting your nails or twirling your hair around your finger. I wouldn't disregard any theory if someone did either of those while debating, nor would I for swearing.

We saved them in World War II, but so did the British (Who actually fought since the beginning, unlike some who waited to get hit with a hammer before doing anything), the Soviets, hell all of the world that was arrayed against the Axis. And how did we save them in Vietnam? They got their asses kicked in a place they never should've been (ring a bell), the US came in almost a decade later.

Furthermore they saved us twice, Napoleon, that little brilliant French Emperor, he busied the British with himself while they sent token forces that managed to boot out the Americans in Canada and burn the capitol. Or how about that little sale he gave us as well, the one that doubled the size of the country.
