What sports and teams do you hate?

My favorite sport is Football. I am a big Chicago Bears fan. I don't think they will go far as we have a 1st year coach, a QB who has only started 3 games, and owners (the McCaskeys) who are morons.

We use to be good, but stupid Mike McCaskey fired Da Coach (Ditka) who won a Superbowl and brought us 6 straight NFC Central crowns. He then brought in Dave Wanstedt who ****ed the team up. Then after 5 losing seasons he brings in Dick Juaron who was even worse than Dave. He showed no emotion and was like Jerry Manuel. He gave us 1 fluke year of winning and couldn't call **** for plays and had his O Coordinater (Jon Schoop) do it and he seemed to love a run up the middle on 3rd and long. He was gutless and would never throw downfield when we had good WRs and good enough QBs.

I hate the Packers who are the Bear's rivals. For obvious reasons. I especially hate Brett Favre (he should learn how to ****ing pronounce his last name). I want Urlacher to crush him this year. Unfortunately the Slackers will win the NFC Central.

I also hate the Lions, but they suck and are no threat

I am a big Baseball fan and if you can tell by my sig. I'm a White Sox fan.

I go to as many games as possible and will go on Monday to see Ace pitcher Mark Buehrle(man) crush Carlos Silva for a 4th time this year. They have a good pitching staff with 21 game winner Esteban Loaiza (ELo), Strikeout king Freddy Garcia (just ordered his jersey from MLB.com), Jon Garland who is young, but with great potential, and Scott Schoenweiss who is pretty good for a 5th starter.

The pen is good with the exception of wash-up Mike Jackson (who can't go an inning without giving up the longball). Demaso Marte is pretty consistent as a set-up man. Neil Cotts and Jon Adkins are young pitchers who should soon be starting. Cliff Politte started out poorly but pulled it together. Kelly Wunsch is good, but injured. The greatest change is the addition of Japanese Closer Shingo Takatsu who has won over fans all over Chicago with his slow strikeout changeup which can't register on the radar gun due to it's slow speed. He can throw an 89-90 mph fastball and then go to a 60 mph sidearm change. He strikes out the best sluggers. He has a low ERA and converted 100% of save opportunities.

The Sox have a great offense. They are 2nd in HRs this year (only behind Texas). They have Paul Konerko with 24 homers and leading 1st basemen. Jose Valentin's 20 are leading shortstops and he is coming through in the clutch. Carlos Lee only has 14, but 8 have come in July. He also posted a team record 28 game hitting streak. Frank Thomas has done tons, but is now injured. He should be back in September and ready for possible October play.

Maggs Ordonez was gone much of the year, but is now back and making a differance. The Sox have found good talent in 2nd basemen Willie Harris and Juan Uribe. Aaron Rowand has been a surprise in CF hitting over .300. The only weaknesses in the lineup are 3B Joe Crede, who is good with the glove and Catchers where Alomar is old, but can still come in clutch and young Burke and Davis aren't ready.

I used to be a big football fan (I suppose the Americans would insist I call it soccer), but now I can't really get into spectating sports. I much prefer to actually be out there doing the sport, and it always strikes me as odd when people exclaim "We won!", when in fact all they did was sit and watch the winners.

In terms of what sport I like to do, I'm a fencer (foil). It's a good sport, that requires some of everything - fitness, agility, accuracy, strategy, timing and a quick mind.

How could you leave out hockey???!! That's my favourite sport to watch. I like the Ottawa Senators and hate the Colorado Avalanche and the Detroit Redwings.

My second favourite sport to watch is football (CFL, occasionally NFL). My team is the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (therefore making the team I hate the Toronto Argonauts, but I also hate the BC Lions). I'd say my favourite NFL teams are the Packers and the Patriots.

My favourite sport to do though is Trampoline, yes it's a sport. This year will be it's second time in the Olympics. I did gymnastics from when I was 3 until when I was 12 but I had to quit because of injury and other problems. I then joined Power Tumbling, Trampoline and Sports Aerobics, but now only do Trampoline (although if it weren't for injury I'd still be in Tumbling). What I like about trampoline is that it is always fun. What person doesn't like a trampoline???

Oh I also love curling.

What is your favorite Sport and what are your favorite teams?

What sports and teams do you hate?

Favorite sport: American football. I also like association football (aka soccer).

Favorite teams: The Washington Redskins and D.C. United (Washington, D.C.'s Major League Soccer franchise). I also keep an eye on the Baltimore Orioles (baseball), Washington Bullets (I REFUSE to call them the Wizards until they win an NBA title as the Wizards), and Washington Capitals (that is, if there's an NHL season).

As for watching any of the above, for the most part, I'll watch it if it's on or if I happen to be channel surfing and I find a game UNLESS it's American football. I will watch as many as six games on any given weekend, whether the Redskins are playing or not.

As for teams I hate, well... I hate the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Oakland Raiders, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Oh, and any Duke University team (I went to Maryland).

You've got to love Rugby. It's a sport that unites the world, and it always includes a party afterward. What other sport offers you a chance to celebrate your scars with the other team? I play second row for my college team, and I would like to play for a local RFC after I graduate, but alas, my joints are starting to protest.
I think that the United States does not pay nearly enough attention to its smaller sports (Rugby, soccer, cricket, hockey, etc.) Unless one can build a huge franchise, these sports are overlooked and underfunded. The United States has never been able to field a competitive team in rugby, and only in recent years has the nation even noticed soccer. It is time for a change!

Rugby without doubt. You americans need all your helmets and pads to play american football, why? And also how is it football when you primarily use you hands? We had football first and ours is better anyway, we dont stop every five seconds for a break...

*ahem* I'm better.

So, in case you didn't guess, I'm a hockey freak.

I'm a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks (in that order), and if Team Canada.

Hockey. Simply the best sport in the world. THE BEST! I don't care what everyone else says, hockey is the best.

As for favorite teams, I'm an Oilers fan, therefore a Calgary hater (I don't give a damn how close they came.) I watch CFL, and cheer for the Eskimos (I've got season tickets.)

I also do some obscure sports. I do rodeo, wrestle bulls, ride bareback, and work as a rodeo clown. (Because of that, right now I've got broken ribs and a busted foot.)

Its the only sport i've played where all rivalries are left on the field. I play as a flanker (you might know it as a wing forward). I'm lucky in that I live in the UK where it has a lot more popularity than in the US (helped by England being world champions, although not really living up to it at the moment).

The United States has never been able to field a competitive team in rugby

Its starting to look a bit better i.e in the world cup where the US got its first win in something like 16 years.

Anyway, favourite team is Newcastle Falcons

As for sports I hate, i'm going to have to say American football, and football.

I am so sick of American football players catching crap from rugby fans about all the padding they wear. Maybe it is because they hit harder than rugby players. As far as the name "football" I have no idea. I think we need to have a name switch in America.

Isn't there already a sport called handball?

Yes there is. It's fairly popular over in Europe.

Unfortunately, it hasn't caught on here in the U.S. From the descriptions I've read, it sounds like a fun game.

I find watching sport to be an incredibly boring waste of time. I used to watch Soccer when I was a kid, but I realised that it was just the same thing over and over again, and eventually got bored of it.

I declare war on IDF based on the fact that auto racing (which is not a sport) is listed and Ice Hockey (which is one of the oldest sports in the world) is not.

I like Football (both kinds) and Hockey.

My favorite teams are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning (who wants to guess where I live) and Real Madrid.

Third favorite: American Football. Not everyone plays with pads, you know. Until you've played renegade, you haven't played football. Professionals have short enough careers to collect their money. I don't begrudge them protection. Besides, it was a slippery slope. first, helmets. To protect their heads. All of a sudden, you have large guys barreling at eashother with armored heads. So the padding started to thicken, and spread. Now you see what we have: Armored players. I like getting back to basics. Bloody painful basics. :)

Second favorite: Rugby. A Ruffian's game played by gentlemen. ANy sport where you can kick an opponent in the groin and all the ref says is, "Hey! Tie your shoes!" is my kind of game. :D

Favorite: Wrestling. I'm not talking about 'professional wrestling', which I find very entertaining, and admire their athleticism, but is not a sport. I'm talking about freestyle wrestling. Or Greco Roman, which I could never get into. Wrestling is almost as pure a skill sport as you will ever find. I admire everything about wrestling.
