So, is Jenna advertising or just thirsty?

Your daughters are supposed to help you in a political campaign, right? Why has no one told this to Jenna and perhaps suggested that, even though Cheney may curse and her daddy may flip people off, she might want to not provoke the media?

I don't think even Amy Carter was as big an embaressment as this two-headed hosebeast is turning out to be.

I'm not sure if many people would be offended by this. Its not as if she punched a reporter in the face. Still, the Bush twins have been and continue to be a definite liability to the Bush campaign. All I can say is: good job! Keep going... hehehe

Here's to having the Bush daughters continue to help the campaign for Bush!!! Maybe he can talk about family values and how important it is to get his daughters out of legal trouble because he's important.

Well, if family connections saving them from embaressing criminal records are good enough for their DubyaDaddy, I guess it should be good enough for them.

Perhaps the Republican party should release a video, "Presidential Daughters Gone Wild!"

What's the problem?

As the reporters started to laugh and snap photographs, the 22-year-old looked at them for a few more seconds, smiling and laughing.

Looks like everyone knew it was a joke.

Of course it was a joke, but it was a bad joke, particularlly coming from Jenna. People crucified Dean for an unfortunate "Yee-Haw" so this no different.

yeah... oh no Dean showed enthusiasm.... what is this world coming to?

I don't think anyone really cares about what Jenna did. They probably asked her to do it to get people talking about something other than the Bush scandals running amok.

Isn't she just exercising her right to the First Amendment's freedom of speech?
Or is it freedom from speech?

Hmm...

But the attitude does, for me, mirror Daddy Bush's attitude -- to the rest of the world and the part of the country that does not agree with him -- so I'm not surprised or upset.

Additionally, it must be tiresome for the media to stick their cameras in your face and report on every facet of your life. Nobody would give a crap if I got drunk underage, but it's a newsworthy item if she and her sister do. I can understand the sentiment.

Even this is non-newsworthy.

She was being coy with the reporters.

Our most flamboyant PM, Trudeau, "dared" to show the finger to the reporters in Canada while in his train. Who cares?

I think the reason I found this interesting is that the Bushes attempt to portray themselves as some sort of paragon of virtue and morality in this country. That's fine, but then I intend to hold them to that. So when I see Jenna doing things like this or Dubya flipping off protestors during one of his photo-ops, I'm going to call them on it.

Is it a big deal? No. Does it speak to a general hypocracy and "bad attitude" regarding both the responsibilities and the privelledges of the office and power in general? Certainly.

I didn't.

And humour is an admirable trait in my books.

My favorite part of that little story:

"The Bush twins recently joined their dad on the stump for his last political campaign."

Last! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yeah, I know, but you people have only had to deal with him for 4 years ... I'm Texan ... I had to deal with his sorry ass as governor before we let him be President just to get him out of our State.

you must be joking

that is a very cute pic and makes jenna seem like a real human being instead of a stepford child. i dont see why anyone would think less of her or her father for it.

Most of you sound so desperate for people not to like anything roughly equivilant to the word Bush. It's sad that he's going to conquer you whimpering foreigners.
