I'm currently trying to learn how to say i love you in as many languages as possible, so far i have 11:

1) English (obviously)
2) Spanish
3) French
4) German
5) Italian
6) Polish
7) Slovakian
8) Sign language
9) Thai
10) Urdu
11) Latin

i was just wondering if anyone knew how to say it in any other languages?

(EDIT: i just remembered i know it in latin too)

To love in Dutch is 'houden van'

so i guess that i love you is 'ik hou je van'

(pronounced ik = ik, hou = how, je = ye but with a short e, van = fon)

those pronounciations are not quite right cos van starts with something in between a v and an f

Japanese- Kimi wo aishiteru きみをあいしてる for males to females and Anata wo aishiteru あなたをあいしてる for females to males

Can people see that writing?

almost, it's 'ik hou van je' pronounce: 'ik how fan ye (with the short e, indeed)'

So, who you got a crush on, The fairy tinkerbelly? Hmm? Gonna impress some hot date my spending the first hour and a half saying I love you, but he won't actually understand?

Anyway...I want to apologize for Eastwestland...he's in the same region as me (Greater Nova York...I highly recommend it...it's the greatest!) He's just starting out...and I have no idea what prompted him to post that, but I apologize anyway...

Sorry I can't help you out...I only know English and German!

Wait a minute...is that middle guy giving the finger? That's so inappropriate...I think I'll do what Eastwestland suggested, and telegram him!

i have a crush on too many people to mention lol. I can probably think of more interesting things to do to impress someone on a first date than tell them i love them ;)

it's ok (and just so you know, though i'm sure it's a great region, Greater Nova York isn't the greatest because my region, 'Paradise Beach', is!)
