Why do I feel that on NS, the amount of single people will be over-represented?

Single, unfortunately.

Most happily married - I feel sorry for people who stll have to date.

Other - I am living in sin with no immediate plans to formalize my relationship.

I picked other. There's a girl I know, but I'm not sure if we're just friends or more than that.

I just wanna freaking snuggle buddy. And I'm one of the only guys who can say that and NOT mean anything dirty by it :p

I'm not capable of maintaining a conversation with anyone, so I remain single. I also have asthma, eczema and allergies to a number of foods. If I were an item in a department store, I'd be the dented, half-opened box in the bargain basement.

Other: single and can't really be bothered but it would be nice.

Dating the most wonderful woman I've ever met! We've only been going out for 6 months, but there's just something about her that makes me feel like I've found that special someone ^_^

dating, but physically separated. as of this fall, he's at USC and i'm at George Washington, about as far apart as two people can get while still both being in America. been involved for 3 years, and hoping that we can keep it up for long enough to figure out how to move closer together.

Everyone thinks that that is the sour grapes response, but really it isn't. I'm a playwright and filmmaker (no longer film student!!!!yeah!!!) so I'm around a lot of people who are free with the warm fuzzies (not naked warm fuzzies, not with me anyway) so I get my human contact in and otherwise I'm busy and broke. So I don't care. I didn't want those damn grapes.......

Dating, but her lack of dedication to history is making me consider other options. Just kidding, but she is rather insistent on making fun of my shelves of history books ("It's not the only thing in my house that I've put a lot of money into to get pleasure from it's company, you're standing here aren't you?")

Single, after a nearly-two-year relationship ended (on the best possible terms) last wednesday.

I'm LOVING it.

I had begun to feel like I was half of an ageing marriage and at my age (nearly 18) it was worrying me.

Even though I'm glad I have my girlfriend, I can't help but feel a little guilty about how jealous that must make all the other ladies feel. ;)

I'm single. Loving it a lot of the time, when there's girls to bounce to and from.

Sometimes hating it, when I don't have anyone who has devotion to me and just me. Or who I know really thinks of me as a good person rather than just someone to have some quick fun with.

Married and quite happy about it.

I also have the three most beautiful children ya'll will ever see. :D
