I should have used the word "western" instead of "civilised" to make myself clearer.

Death. Sometimes being an agnostic is hard. I wish I had some comforting lies to fall back on, but I don't.

Frankly, I don't have any particular phobia, but death(or rather, the possibility that death is only oblivion) terrifies me. Thank god(in a figurative way) I'm still young and don,t plan on dying anytime soon.

Somebody older than I am ordering a happy meal, Lawyers, Populated Vending Machines, Restaurants, Career politicians, people who don’t like Troma Films, Lobsters, people who use words such as “civilized” and “evil” and being taken seriously. Those who make ad hoc statements and expect credibility, endomorphs, the FCC, watching a really bad movie that I was expecting to be good, people who place way too much emphases and a single aspect of a very complex issue, and lets not forget those damn dirty moogles.

So, I had a look at Transhumanism, via the miracle that is google, and to be perfectly honest, I think it's the best idea I've seen in a long time.

I'm afraid of spiders. It's kinda weird because when i see a bee, i'll fight it. I'll punch the bee in the face. If it stings me i don't care I go "ha, your going to die now bee", but when it comes to spiders... i run away like a little girl.

Being an agnostic, I'm scared to death of death. Usually I just try to distract myself by doing something else, but if my mind gets on the subject shortly before sleep, I'm up for the next 2 hours. Minimum.

...and people wonder why I stay up till 3-4 am each night. Makes it easy to fall asleep ^_^
