In 1983, Chicago Cubs manager Lee Elia exploded during a press conference. He ripped on the fans of the lovable losers. It was carried live on WGN channel 9 in chicago. There was no time delay so it was not bleeped. The people in the booth were so shocked that they forgot to cut the feed so this went out for 3 minutes. Needless to say Elia was fired and replaced by Don Zimmer (who got decked by Pedro last year)
