What do you think of the Jolt Forums?

Personally, I think it's great that we finally have forums that work on a regular basis, instead of whenever I'm not on. This change over to the Jolt systems is a definite plus in that area.

However, I have some problems with it. The system, because it lacks focus on NS, makes it harder to jump between forums, and the titles given make less sense for our game. Also, the smile choices are more limited and harder to use then in the previous version. Plus, with everything being rearranged, it's harder to figure out how to make it do the things you want it to.

I'm sure these are all things that I will get used to in time. But, while we are here in the present, I'd like to know what everyone else thinks of the new system.

I want my images!

I get:

[IMG] code is On
HTML code is Off

Have a dig around somewhere off the user control panel page, I found where these could be switched earlier, but can't seem to locate them right now.

To answer your question: I don't like them.
Pros:
1) We finally have forums.
2) The arcade is neat.

Cons:
1) I don't like the emoticons.
2) The colors are stark. The old ones were friendly.
3) The dates aren't as easy to read.
4) The all-white screen makes it difficult for me to read threads. (I like the alternating post background colors and strong borders in phpBB. The printer-friendly layout helps.)
5) I see no way to view threads I've posted in. I can subscribe to new threads, but I can't find a way to see the old ones.
6) They're slower and die more frequently.
7) You can't edit after 15 minutes.
8) The arcade is a good way to waste time.

I'm adjusting to numbers two and four.
