Well, I am now an official resident of Florida. No more California :( :). Good to be here and seems like a cool place to live so far. One thing for sure is housing is alot less expencive and theres lots of room to grow.
I didnt start this thread to just talk about Florida though. How many of you have relocated your family to a new area? and also, Have any of you driven CLEAR across the USA to do it :). Tell you what, it was fun, but it was long. especially going through Texas. It seemed we would never make it out of there!!! Very cool though seeing the country and how it changes. Going from the Mountains and high deserts of the west then changing to a temperate forest in Texas to the swamps and deep forests of Lousiana and Miss and Alabama to the tropics of Florida.
If any of you have a couple of weeks and a few hundred dollars for gas and hotel, it makes a great trip. and you can take I-10 pretty much the whole way. :)
