Goobergunch drove up to the rubble for the last time. The ruins of the Volcano were still evident, although they had decayed over time.
"It's symbolic in a way of this entire forum," he said. "In only 15 minutes it will go the way of the Volcano, and be replaced with Jolt forums in a few days."
Goobergunch remembered all of the good times of the old forum. Forum 7, the old UN debates, some of the old Technical threads....He recalled the days when there were just 7 public forums, and noted mournfully that the Jolt forums would probably never have the same memories that this one did.
And so he began to sing. "For auld acquaintance be forgot...."
[ooc: This thread is basically for remembering the old forum - and for me escaping Bas if he catches me stealing the Volcano name. ;) ]
