The Media of the United States is the continuous victim of spin and media bias. Many reporters have an agenda of their own, and wish to alter the news to suit their views.

There is now a site which dares to challenge and expose the bias in the media. It is called Intercourts. If you would like to examine some of the cases presented, regarding the bias of the media, and/or take part in deciding the guilt or innocence of the media outlets in question, check out http://www.intercourts.com/district1/

We can bring true impartiality back to Journalism.

Thats a remarkably right wing site for something that claims to be correcting bias.

I can happily say that the newspaper I work for (Ram-Page) at my High School is, for the most part, impartial

EDIT: I believe it is ranked near (if not) #1 by an elite group I believe is known as the Quill-and-Scroll Society

Well, at least the major newspaper production lines are unbiased...

I had an idea for a site that would strive to reach a completely unbiased report. My idea was for the information to be presented as a debate between an extreme-left-winger, an extreme-right-winger, and a moderator in the middle. (Kind of like Crossfire I guess.) And instead of posting articles, a transcript of the debate would be posted. Then you can read the bias of both sides (because you're not going to get unbiasness from one person), and choose for yourself what you want to believe.

Exactly which non-existant golden age of impartiality in the media are you harking back to here?

This all assumes that your definitions of what constitutes a left-winger, a right-winger and a centrist are not themselves biased...

Well, I don't think I'd be picking necessarily. Just find some volunteers. Self-proclaimed wingers.

Funny, i couldnt agree with you more! fox news osnt biased at all, at leats not any more than any other huge corporate network. But i think the reason why you left of center people dont like them very much is that they have a few conservative shows that do not try to advertise themselves as news. Now what would make you people so hostile towards that particular network? Could it be that they dont pander to the left like the new york times, NPR, and the BBC do? Is that it? Are you people so hateful and afraid of somebody exposing the truth that you feel it neccesary to stamp out any opposition to your beliefs? And in all the countless topics ive heard of you liberals bitching about fox news ive never once heard you include any of the other sources ive listed.
