I would like to start a discussion about this movie.

this movie was terrible. It was created by the liberals as a threat to our very way of life. The whole movie is full of falsities that brainwash our children to hate God, hate America, and hate our wonderful and amazing president. Mike Myers used false facts and information. He also spliced and edited clips to make it sound the way he want. OH Lord save us from this movie of LIES!!!

An interesting movie indeed, cant pinpoint whether it was worse or better than the first.
Kind of expected to see the Staypuff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters when they visited the muffin man tho.. ah well.

How many people do you figure had heard of that cat before the movie? Like read his story and all. I thought Los Angeles was a pretty good place to model far, far away after...either that or Vegas.

one thing that reeeeally brought the movie down was the end tho... forget the title of that song, but kinda made the rest of the film seem just kinda silly. i laugh, i cry, i laugh, i cry, i go What in the world were they thinking? :shock:

Come on, they had a spanish pussy swashbuckler, they HAD to play that song. And frankly, there are much worse latin songs they could have played. Literary Puss in boots > Shrek Puss in boots
But i think it was just as good as the first. Mom was upset that the happily ever after potion didn't stick, but whatever.

i loved the pepper shaker bit that was so cool.

I loved Shrek 2, and saw it on opening weekend, within the first 10 minutes I was practically crying from laughter. They really did a great job with this sequel, and I hope more movies will follow.

Dare I say it, better than the original.

Yeah the spoof of Cops (with them busting Puss for catnip) was the only part that had me physically laughing.

I loved it. On whole, I think the movie was better than Shrek. What, with all the family fueding, the disney jokes, and crazy old ladies, not to mention Puss in Boots, who could hate the movie. The Shrek movie is just a great parody on fairy tales. Word has it there is a Shrek 3 and 4 lined up for production.

Puss walks by the stage with two maidens and asks the Donkey, who looks particularly lonely, to join him at the Kit Kat Club. The donkey responds "No", and then the dragon (who has been having relationship problems with Donkey) comes flying in (The Donkey is singing some song about being alone), and they make up. Then, the dragon says something, and 5 small dragon-donkey hybrids come flying in. They have donkey bodies, dragon manes and tails, and they breathe fire.
