Which is the greatest of our great hot drinks? You decide... and if you have a fave I've missed, let me know!

Thanks.

I'd have to go with coffee. Tea is good, but coffee is just barely better.

If you had meant cold tea, I would have gone with that (us southerners love our iced tea). But since it's hot, I'd have to go with coffee.

Wow, thanks for your replies people - keep em coming, it seems a tie at the moment!

Perhaps our nations should offer tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided through taps like water....

They fluoridate water in the UK - heaven knows what they'd add to tea, coffee or hot chocolate if they got the chance. Probabbly some mind-numbing drug to keep the general public happy and dumb. Wait, that's what the general public are now ...

Water is never truly pure. In fact I think pure H2O is bad to drink. Would you prefer to receive untreated water, still with any diseases, etc. in it?

Hot chocolate all the way!
Most of the world has a major caffeine problem.
Nothing like ice-cold tap-water (having said that, depends on where you live  ).

Coffee is the reason for America's evil imperialist foriegn policy.

All those analysts and policy formulators crammed into a tiny room at three in the morning with no sleep and gallons of cheap American coffee. Those monsters!

That is why tea is the greatest; we British are clever, pleasant and managed to rule a massive global empire for a century because of it.

You're dead right! Pure water tastes vile!!!!

I've drunk water from a spring...untreated...that tasted vile too but in a different way :)
