I was waiting for someone else to do this, because my threads always die (maybe it's that lack of an online personality). I am very excited to see this movie EXCEPT-

All those shots with Toby in the costume with the mask off. What's that bullshit? That makes me nervous. Other than that, Doc Oc looks cool, I'm amped.

i have no real desire to see S2. even though they had the most romantic kiss in modern cinema, i dont find toby mcguire or .....kirsten dunst? .... particularily appealing. i expect the movie to be all lame special effects and stupid plot

There is always a golden rule first movie will be good, second movie will stink and third one will be alright and the rest will tank.

True, but there are exceptions to the rule. In my opinion, Terminator 2 was better than the first. They're rare, but there are sequels that are superior to the original. Spider-Man 2 may be one of that rare breed.

My cousins and I have decided to see a movie every thursday, and were hitting up Spiderman 2 this week, it looks to be a lot better than the first one, which I thought was a pretty good movie.

And what about the Batman movies? I reckon they started well, and have been getting pretty steadily worse since then.
Spider-Man 2 looks pretty cool (especially Doc Ock!), but I was kinda so-so about the first.
