The NationStates Ultimatium War, NSUW will be held on Monday and Tuesday while the down time is in place. It will be a massive, modern technology war which current NS nations choose a present day nation and take to arms, forge alliances, and rise in power. In the two day war, all those nations of which are not taken by players, two Operaters will hold control. One for Asia and Europe, while an other fro Africa, Americas and Oceanica.

~You will use your current nation, however after this war, it is like nothing happened, so no losses to you or your forces.

~Modern Technology Only, meanning only weapons that are used today and made in NationStates. No future or fantacy technology is allowed.

~Winners get nothing really, lossers lose nothing. This is all FFRP however, and the two Operators will also judge if your losses. attacks, and so on are realalistic.

I just hope you realize things like HPM (aka EMP) bombs were being used during the First Gulf war in secret and that by 2010 laser technology will be weaponized and implemented to a significant degree by both the USA and Iseal. Among many other things. Near future and even current technology can resemble Sci-fi to a significant degree.

This is also kind of like a Forum 7 too. I would really suggest stopping in and having a look. It could be a really fun way to pass the Great Downtime. It caters to everyone.

Well, we are using now tech meaning what is now and in NS. As for lasers and such, what ever, also, there are very little rules to the war, which means nukes, bio warfare, and so on.
