I had that ceremoney from Jr High to High School today, and by gawd I'm glad those two damn years of middle-school are OVER!

At last...High School!

And already I got homework... :shock: :?

You're excited about high school? Man...and I thought I was crazy. I am SO glad high school is over. Forever. I'm done. Thank goodness. I'm freaking out about college though... :shock: I'm going 800 miles from home, in a big city all by myself...someone hold my hand! Ack!

Don't scare the kid. High school is fun!



Except for people who try and stuff you in trash cans.

Heh, I was not even scared about the trash-can thing when I came to middle-school from elementary

besides, I figured that the older kids probably got better things to do...unless they got nothing to do...eh

Hmm... I'm pretty sure graduating from Middle School was the least important transition in my life. Then again, that might have been because I was already taking classes at the high school, which was just next door :). Just remember, half of the things they tell you are supposed to prepare you for college are lies and a waste of time.

High school is meant to teach you how to learn more than to teach you certain facts.

the only way to tell my sons highschool from minimum security prison was the lack of razor wire at the highschool

just remember when things get low:

these are NOT the best years of your life, it gets way better after highschool is over. and even highschool gets better as you get to the upper classes.

a huge-ass Alg I review packet (for alg II next yr)
TONS of reading for english

AND A FOUR-PAGE THESIS COZ IM GOING INTO A DAMN AP HISTORY CLASS!!!!

ehhh...they taught us Albegra already in 8th grade, I got Geometry in 9th

But I got Biology Honors and Language Arts Honors, and I just got to read Farenheit 451 and do this dialectable journal...

Congrats, Freshman year of highschool can be a bitch, so don't celebrate yet. I might add driving is not what it is cracked up to be..

Haha.. I'm so glad that I'm going to 8th grade this year. Dude, this high school called John F. Kennedy High, they have these freshmen days called "Freshmen Fridays". My cousin told me that every friday, at least once a month, a freshmen or two gets canned.

Only freshmens that look older get to be safe.. Oh god, it's hell. I hope I wont be going there, it's my local high skool.. Yet, I want to go to CK Mclacthy, or CkM. There's hella girls there...

Exactly. I thought high skool was heaven. but I heard from my cuzzins that they get homework packed everyday. Wait til' college. It'll be worse than hell.
