I don't know where a Harry Potter message board is, so I am posting this here, since I know there are Harry Potter fans here.
I've read the first three books, but that was a while ago, and after seeing the movies, I have some questions. I noticed a few plot holes I wanted to ask about
In the Sorceror's Stone, what prompts Harry to go ask Hagrid about the man who gave him the dragon egg? Because in the movie, he just randomly goes up and does it.
In the Chamber of Secrets, the Chamber's entrance was in the girl's bathroom, around the sinks. But they said Salazar Slytherin built it before he left Hogwart's, roughly 1000 years ago. There is no way indoor plumbing existed that long ago, so what is the deal?
And finally, what prompted Harry to write "My name is Harry Potter" in the diary containing Voldemort's memory? How could he know to do that?
And just a quick question: In the Chamber of Secret's, was Voldemort the same person as seen in the Sorceror's Stone, or was his sixteen-year old self a seperate entity?
