They'll edit out the link anyway. I think it's pretty clear what they are like and the lengths they will go to to fight back. I'm not all that suprised, and wont be suprised when the next one happens. My position stands.

The very idea of someone doing that to the citizen of any nation simply sickens me. Before seeing that I was hardened against those who do this, now I am doubly hardened. It is all the more reason I say to show these people no quarter. I say that those who think we should not be harsh with terrorists should see that. They would be thick-skulled individuals indeed if their hearts cannot be changed by that.

The behavior is obviously not much better than that of an animal. Their demands will never be met either, which is almost just as bad. Their first problem is the means - more beheadings means more bombs and reprisals. Their second problem is their demands. The U.S. will never become Islamic neither will U.S. forces ever fully withdraw from the Mid-East. Its a stupid cycle that can never be solved.

Exactly. I predict this conflict will be similar to vietnam in the sense that it will cross many presidents who will all try and fix it and fail. Its strange thinking about this in the larger sense because thinking back, this whole situation isn't all that different from any other time and space in history. We think that we're all modern and civilised, but we still fight as much as any other world of humans in history.

Is this a gen-uh-rul "Islamic Bastards" comment i.e. are you aiming it at all people from "The Nation of Islam", or are you just aiming it at these specific people (e.g. al-qaeda etc)?
You see, they're not all the same, as it were.

i.e. has anyone related to you been attacked by them?
Or, more importantly, have you been subjected to whatever

But I can see what sorts of things give them a leg to stand on. Anything
that Bush jr. , Bush sr. and Reagan did, with regards to the Middle East,
and also even the Balfour Declaration prior to them being in power.
Bush making his bogus and unfounded claims that Saddam and Osama
are friends. They're not. Saddam is a dictator, and probably Islam in
name alone, whereas Osama's a fundamentalist Jihadist.

And the only thing uniting them is their common enemy. I think it was Confucius who said it: "The enemy of
my enemy is my friend", or somesuch.
Yet, they have somethingelse in common: their enemy is the one
which trained/arranged the training of both of them.

No wonder many of these people don't trust the West.

And, once again, I ask you: [b]DON'Tget me wrong.
I HATE that these people are killing innocents. Killing people who are
unfortunately in the wrong place at the very wrong time.
But we must remember: in whose name were they sent in the first
place?
Saddam himself, on BBC, said that he'd challenge Bush to a debate,
live on TV, so to avert any bloodshed. And it was the BUSH
GOVERNMENT who refused, because Bush can't even hold his own in a
scripted debate, much less a live, off the cuff debate.

Sure, blame the terrorists. They are the executioner's axe. And they are horrible TOO.
But remember: it may be someone else's hand wielding that axe.
