I'm an Aussie, but don't watch H&A much or soapies of that ilk.
As for deaths, there's a lot of people coming and going but can't help you.

He doesn't "die" as such, he gets bitten and turned into a vampire, an undead revenant! He goes on to lead the vampire underground army into a revolution against the alien overlords who have enslaved the earth. Finally, get gets staked through the heart by a vengeful Martian, but all is not lost...the last 9 months of the series turn out all to be a dream...

...OK, as a serious answer, I'm an Australian, but I don't watch trashy soaps like H&A... :P

"I need an Australian"

is that anything like, "I'm hungry, I feel like a Chinese" or "Who else wants an Indian?"

Just what form does Australian fast-food take, anyway?

is that anything like, "I'm hungry, I feel like a Chinese" or "Who else wants an Indian?"

Just what form does Australian fast-food take, anyway?

Pies, baby, pies - meat pies. And damper bread, and beer. And stew made with lamb, rabbit, or.....kangaroo. ;)

And sticking fried egg on EVERYTHING....minus sweets. And making a burger with damper, and along with all the regular trimmings you put beetroot ("beets" to Americans) and a fried egg. A wash it down with a Solo, a beer, or a cuppa tea.

And for dessert, pavlova :D

(I hate pavlova with a fiery vengence)

*Drools in hunger*
Though most of that is Aussie food, I wouldn't call it fast food. Apart from the burger.

Wait a second - you said FAST food?

Well then in that case: McDonalds.

Nar, more Australian would be fish 'n' chips, or chicken 'n' chips and gravy, or the above mentioned burger with fried egg and beetroot (but NEVER damper. I've only ever eaten that as a novelty food on guided trail walks).
