Here's an interesting quiz. You take it, and it tells you what religion you fit best out of 27.

Religion Quiz (http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html)

I don't take it too seriously, but it has some nice insight. It said that I agree most with the Liberal Quakers.

Beliefs sometimes change, depending on the type of religion and your spiritual path. You may want to take it again.

My beliefs haven't changed since I took it last. I'm still a practicing Roman Catholic. :)

1) Unitarian Universalism 100% - what is it?
2) Secular Humanism 95% - what I would expect
3) Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants 92% - er...
4) Liberal Quakers 87%
5) Nontheist 76%

Taoist 13th. I have to say I'm surprised. I regard myself as an "aggressive agnostic", to quote Arthur C Clarke.

Praticing Roman Catholic says nothing.

Did you take the quiz this time?
Did it show that you fit into the catagory?
Are you willing to answer truthfully to all the questions, even if it goes against your church's practice?

If not, its ok.
Everyone is on a different path, and you just may not be ready to explore others yet.
It says nothing about your character, or bravery.
Sometimes it takes an equally brave person to stick to their beliefs in the face of adversarial information.

Praticing Roman Catholic says nothing.

It says I think religion is important and that my beliefs aren't always in line with my church's teaching.

Did you take the quiz this time?

Yes, and I changed an answer to see how the results would change. I altered my answer to the question on abortion, and didn't rate the importance of each question like I did last time. My top result this time was liberal/mainline Protestantism.

Did it show that you fit into the catagory?

What category?

Are you willing to answer truthfully to all the questions, even if it goes against your church's practice?

I think my getting Hinduism as the top result kinda shows that I am.

If not, its ok.
Everyone is on a different path, and you just may not be ready to explore others yet.

I think my conversion to Catholicism would indicate that I am willing to "explore others".

It says nothing about your character, or bravery.

Agreed. Try not to sound quite so patronizing next time, eh? I did that for you in the U.N. forum.

Patronizing was not intended action.

I was attempting to see where in the quiz you fit, since you claimed that you had taken it, and reasoned that your practiced faith was all that you needed to know.

I am happy to see that you have been exploring. Alot of people walk through life like sheep, blindly following whoever takes charge.

The person that set up that quiz either has an interesting sense of humour, or is an idiot.

After going through and answering the questions , I was suprised that I qualified as a 'Christian Scientist'. Intrigued, I clicked on the religion to read it's attributes. It turns out that (as I suspected) the attributes assigned to Christian Science were in fact directly opposite to the answers to the questions I had previously given.

These were in my top ten when I took it last.. It just Unitarian first, and protestant below six.

Let's see.. currently I'm atheist in practice (no church, no prayer, no scripture reading) and agnostic-maybe-leaning-Christian in belief. Maybe I should dust off my Bible and read some.. if only to make my boyfriend happy. Hmm, things to think about.

You do not have to be one or the other. You can be agnostic towards religion and use secular humanism for a belief system.
